According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

still no windows qt?

windows QT is there , i'm just slaving away trying to get it to accept more threads.

Where?  Not seeing it in the github, let me play with it.  If this is same algo as PTS us windows users could use external miner, no?

Mined for the last 8 hours with 56 h/m and not one block...  I'm starting to wonder if the miner is even working.  CPU utilization is at 100% on all systems.

Edit:  Scratch that...hit my first block about 30 minutes ago.  Carry on.

Ok I'm quite frustrated at the moment...is it possible for a mined block to recieve several confirmations before it is orphaned?  The one block I actually saw under Immature just dissapeared.  I have gotten 4 orphans (transactions show "1" but no entries?) in the last 12 hours with 56 h/m what's going on?

mining info:

"blocks" : 2129,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00000465,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -4,
"hashespermin" : "No information yet. Wait at least 4 minutes after starting mining for estimate.",
"networkhashps" : 65,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false

i got i5-4670. my cpu usage is around 23% and it shows for the client 0-0.1%

Minumum Stake age is 7 days, full age 14 days

How does this work, is the stake percentage different for a 7 day staked coin?
