For me bounty campaign contributes for the success of a certain ICO project through advertising by the use of social media but also it may affect or give negative impact in certain project because there are lots of bounty hunters that keep on spamming and it isnt good for the reputation of an ICO project.

Both but more on the positives, it depends on how the bounty manager is going to execute the bounty program because i've seen ICOs that didn't had any success and eventually got cancelled.

I am not sure if it is useful for them or not but I personally think that they might be loosing more money over the bounties than any other type of marketing business model. I mean this has become trend now to promote the ICO's with the bounties however they shovel be trying the real world campaign and meeting real investor in the real world. 
Bounties are like giving away free millions of tokens and later same participant dump everything crazy and make the ICO's go in wrong direction. What do you think how useful they might be?

Lolz. May be. But thats the best shot for them. Its not like bounties are worst but they are good if the projects are legit one and we have lot of examples for this. Recently I was working with the IOST campaign and observed that this project earned pretty awesome hike during the campaign period and thus it is proof that these campaigns really work for visualisation of their presence. As soon as the campaign came to an end then the graph literally dropped to the bottom. May be bounties can be related like this and might be good way to promote them.

i think both sides benefit from each other. ico requires promotion to find investors, while bounty hunter works to promote it. as if bounty hunter is a bridge between dev and investor, and finally bounty hunter get reward
