Anyone having issues of their wallet not Syncing?

Just cashed out from a pool, and realized my wallet is not syncing at all

Add the config file with the additional nodes from the OP. Should work then.

How do, windows qt doesn't even come with anything other than the client.

Go to;

C:\Users\ YOUR-USERNAME \AppData\Roaming

and find the flappycoin file. Add the data from the OP to a new text document within the flappycoin file and then save it as FlappyCoin.conf, make sure it doesn't save as .conf.txt

Then just restart the qt and it should work

You still have it saved as a .txt file and not as a .conf file. Open up that file in notepad, go to file -> save as -> keep the same name but make sure you change the Save as type: dropdown to all files.

Still can't figure out why it won't sync...would love it to though! don't want to lose those coins I transferred to my wallet!

Would someone be willing to attach their working .conf file?? just in case I'm fat-fingering it or something. Looks right to me! have it allowed through my firewall, but still won't get through.

It has to be "flappycoin.conf". No capitals!

Tried it, still nothing, it will say loading address when booting the qt but still got nothing.

mines definitely saved as a .conf file, ive added them to wallets loads of times.

The .conf file does NOT go C:\Users\ YOUR-USERNAME \AppData\Roaming.  It goes into the same directory were you are running the client from.



Also, remove EVERYTHING from your .conf file and put this in.  Has been working flawlessly for me

windows+r -> type %appdata% ->roaming->put your flappycoin.conf into Flappycoin folder...
then you should wait about 10-30 minutes

Are you using full caps on the letters ? As it was also giving me issues till I did.

Everyone having problems with Nodes just disable firewall thats your problem
