Re-elect the entire board. No bitcoin company owners anymore. That's not healthy for the coin. Choose independent boardmambers. professors, visionairs. Believers, not earners.

That's a excellent idea. That way we wouldn't have any issues like the one in hand, we need to keep things like this separate from business members. I know a lot of the users here who would be doing a better job than the current members of the Bitcoin foundation. This process could also be continued as those who were previously elected go onto other things such as Bitcoin businesses would get removed by newly elected members, the election would have to be decided by the community though and not by a few certain people.

+1

But Bitcoin believers will surely turn into earners over time, especially if they're smart.

Members who get elected every so often would be such a cool idea.

Agreed. Election of board members should be reminiscent of a direct-democracy.

Ah, ochlocracy. That makes nice entertainment. Maybe there should also be a petition to execute Mark in the public?

This guy deserves a severance package at the least.

A kfc or some kind of buffet, his choice.

Tar and feather the whole lot of them Mark is definitely public enemy #1.

I never thought my life could be. Anything but catastrophe. But suddenly I begin to see. A "BIT" of good luck for me. Cause I've got a golden ticket!

I guess I can't believe he's continuing to dump gas on the fire.

It would be nice if he stepped up and took his share of the blame for this, but if he can't handle that he could at least shut his pie hole at this point.

This dude needs to wake up and watch out. When Gox goes under, which is inevitable, there will be people who are sufficiently angry at him and will proceed to arrange for him to sleep with the fishes.

I think we could of got hundreds of more signatures but we have reached the goal and hopefully something will be done about it otherwise I have lost all respect for the Bitcoin foundation.

It seems to now be at 1,000 as the new goal, so anyone who didn't vote, now can.

Phinneus, you too!

Looks like its at 626 votes now.
