... I basically live on the internet, and I've encountered plenty of trolls. This guy is on a new level of scumbaggery though.
You're making me cringe.

Me and you are like the difference between 4chan and 9gag.

Like I said, wait for the other one to drop.

Sounds like you've been scammed before and are possibly still upset about it? Sorry, brah. I hope you get over whatever is making you troll right now.

I haven't, actually. I'm probably fortunate to not have been scammed, but I also try not to be a fuckwit and give out money without collateral.

I don't come here to troll anyone, I was just being honest. Are you really going to start a thread about being butthurt for other people? Scammers exist. Some are up-front about it. Whatcha gonna do?

IMHO a lot of people who get scammed/hacked are somewhat at-fault. Not that I necessarily condone it. I'm a straight shooter myself but hey, it's reality. Let's not spread FUD by crying 'woe is me' every time you are forced to interact with a scammer.

By the end of next month at the latest we will have permanently left behind 3 digits. You can quote me on this.

This guy is on a new level of scumbaggery though. I dunno. I think the reason why I got so upset was because he was trying to convince me that he was a good person.

It's sad to see scum like this around, but have there ever been instances of honorable "Robin Hood" style BTC thieves before?

Actually, it raises an interesting scenario - say an "Anonymous" hacker dedicated to the cause somehow managed to obtain the private key to the FBI held DPR stash and then went and donated the lot to charities like Wikileaks, EFF or even Sean's outpost. Let's say they even tumbled the coins for good measure to erase the trail, what would (if evne possible) the legal response to this and could they really do anything about it anyhow?
