I've found some interesting info here: https://www.ethnews.com/cryptocurrency-derivatives-are-here
"Crypto-based derivatives, like their fiat counterparts, are designed to reduce an investor’s risk. However, like in fiat, derivatives can also be used solely as a mechanism for profit. Derivatives are essentially contracts between two or more parties. Derivatives are based on the underlying value of an asset, index, or other entity. Derivatives are a natural fit for cryptocurrencies for three main reasons."

And what do you think of this? Especially about bitcoin futures which caused btc crash?

"“CFTC staff is providing this information, in part, to aid market participants in their efforts to design risk management programs that address the new risks imposed by virtual currency products,” added Brian Bussey, the director of the commission’s division of clearing and risk. “In addition, the guidance is designed to help ensure that market participants follow appropriate governance processes with respect to the launch of these products.”

The new guidance appears to be a response to the criticism of the CFTC’s failure to sufficiently scrutinize the first bitcoin futures products prior to their launch in December 2017. Though these markets have been behaving in an orderly fashion to date, some experts believe that this situation could change as the voulume of altcoin futures increases.

Also, the Federal Reserve Bank tends to draw parallels between the launch of bitcoin futures and bitcoin market price crash in January.

Meanwhile, cryptocurrency futures keep on establishing their presence in the market while attracting more and more big players, Goldman Sachs being one of the most recent examples."

If  you are thinking about trading in the markets as bill paying job , I should advise that the thought is very poor at the moment. You can occasionally make some income.

I think that the market is better opportunity for investors, not traders. You could get income if you invest long-term and if you try to trade intraday or short periods than chances to get much profit are less

A derivative is a financial security with a value that is reliant upon or derived from an underlying cryptocurrency!!
I do not think that these derivatives will affect the market significantly as people are used to classic operations on stock exchanges. But on the classic stock market there are tons of derivatives operations performed every day. I think that futures, options ect. will bring stability to the market. Not now of course, but in 2-3 years surely

Let's see! Thanks for your comment!

With maturation, the trend is for more and more new forms of crypto investment to emerge. Derivatives are a very risky way of leverage and are only suitable for very experienced investors.

Yes, the plan is grandiose, revered now the site, and also in our time is very in demand .. the idea ... for a simple man in the street .. I think many will not like truthful reviews that can not be deleted,  I think this is a promising development in which I can participate...
Is this your first project for your team?

The market of derivatives is a market for professionals and I am surprised that you suggest amateurs to trade derivatives because I can compare trading derivatives with gambling in casino where the outcome is just only one a player lose its money on the long run so I would not recommend anybody to trade derivatives because it is incredibly difficult kind of trading which was designed just for professionals that they can manage their risks by hedging.

Very interesting opinion! But what is the difference between investing in crypto assets and buying contracts? If someone is thinking that a certain type of crypto asset will rise for example, than he could buy a contract and will have an opportunity to earn more, because he doesn't have to pay for a whole amount of the asset, but just a price of a contract. I suppose that risks for an amateur are the same, doesn't matter if he buys/sells crypto assets or derivatives.

I think that more and more exchanges could allow to use tradition financial instruments for crypto. For example, Poloniex was bought by Civic and realease new mobile app.
But Poloniex do not provide us derivatives trading. The only instrument is BTC futures on classic market. I think that it is not enough for crypto market. We'd like to have a wide range of products
