There is no limit on how many users may be awarded the Vulpine Order of Merit. A few more meritorious posts from achow101 within the next week is all it will take for him to become the second member of what will then be able to be classified as a group.

Your choice of words is interesting.  What, exactly constitutes a "need" for merit?

Yes, the question is rhetorical; there is no need for merit.  This forum is unique in that it has created its own economy.  Apparently many have mistaken the intent of the forum, and seem to believe the economic system is the purpose for the forum’s existence.  That’s the problem the merit system intends to resolve.
