Now that's getting hard!  First few days I had very few designs to pick from and I was like "yep, I think I know what I want". Now you guys have made this a hell lot harder to pick 3 for the poll

Great job every one... and a good news too. The top three will, if they agree, go against each other for a banner ad competition after the logo has been finalized.

Thanks everyone for the submissions so far.  They've all been excellent and our decision is going to be tough!

I think that Duetschpire has the date wrong on the first post though, as Tuesday is the 25th, not the 24th!  So there is still a little time for more entries!!

Didn't see the contest till today, thanks to paulthetafy for bumping this thread.

I feel I need to bring out the "THRIFT" part to help the name stick in people's heads. That's why I split the name in two lines. The "C" and "T" in the logo should still be distinct sized right down to favicon level. I actually liked a touch of orange in the logo, but it doesn't blend into your website. So, just left there for you to think about the possibilities of the design concept.

This logo represents the activity of buying & selling, as well as security provided by the escrow system. The overall shape of the logo - a circle with a rim, is inspired by the shape of a coin.  

Other colour options are possible and as seen in the example above, the logo works also well in black and white. The size of the logo is very flexible and remains it's legibility when scaled down.
