Same problem. I sent 40,000 to comcort and they will not confirm. As I live in Las Vegas I mined this non stop, as I wanted this to be our city coin. I just looked at the wallet and last upgrade was August 2014. Bryon, can you please help us?

There is not even a "wallet repair option". I have emptied the roaming/vegascoin folder except wallet.dat and it resyncs with same problem.

Byron, just tell us..have you given up on this?

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I still think this coin has some great potential, they just need to hand it over to a full time dev and I am sure the community will continue with the strong support.

I think the marketing team is doing an awesome Job getting different businesses to accept the coin!

What we need is a dev with more time for this amazing project!

If anyone has VegasCoin on AllCrypt you may want to get your coins off before they go offline.  https://www.allcrypt.com/blog/2015/03/allcrypt-com-will-be-going-offline-for-a-while/

Search engines are detecting the vegascoin website as hacked

Owners of the site may want to check things out and rectify things with search engines

Its a shame, they did quite a bit of marketing work and even got local Vegas businesses involved. Decent community behind it and getting close to being listed on cryptsy. Its prime for a takeover from a competent dev if the original creators refuse to interact with the community.

People are still mining and trading at a decent pace so something may be in the works.

I really hate to see this much potential wasted out of incompetence. It feels like the devs are too lazy to even communicate with the community anymore.
A little more ambition, commitment and investment with a little less paranoia and this could (still can - but chance is close to nothing) be something huge.

In my own humble opinion VGC could really thrive with functions like POS or POA. A wallet makeover and bug fix and 10,000,000 giveaway (YES 10M !! VGC needs to build a solid foundation again) split into lots of 10,000 for example to grow community just before hitting a REAL business. And this is just on the top of my head! There's so much stuff other alts are doing to promote their coin. Compared to them VGC didn't even try... All we hear are excuses. Such a damn shame.

First things first. Fixing the sync issue with several transactions. If this doesn't happen, nothing ever will for VGC.

The devs should pay someone to fix the sync issue if they can't do it themselves. VegasCoin's investors are losing money because of this.

Indeed

For example: http://thealtcoinguys.com/

fix the issues, add pos and wallet makeover please!
