One of the original concepts behind Rabbit coins was that it would be fast. Is it fast?

Does transaction speed rely on mining and block times?

But the blockchain is only 1.2gb. Just wait for connections and it'll sync after a while. The first time I installed the wallet it took a while to find connections, but now it finds them quickly.

Also, it will take a while to load the wallet after you have the blockchain. Loading blockchain index will take a while, but just wait and it'll work eventually. Maybe 15 minutes.



With this rabbitcoin.conf in the Appdata/Roaming/Rabbitcoin directory I get 6+ connections.

Thanks but that is just a list of nodes. However I believe to setup your own full node you need at least a VPS running a flavor of Linux and install and run the Rabbit node sever software.

i mined this back in the day but it did'nt go anywhere. is this still minable? is it on any exchanges? if not why are there some still mining it? i have been mining eth and zec for a while and have been thinking about all the past coins i mined. some are still around and i should have held them. others are long gone. just being nostalgic
