What did anyone expect with such a pathetic attempt at a copycoin?
Hey next lets make Groceriescoin! and Cartooncoin! and Dentistcoin! and SmellyShoecoin!

We need an official currency for our old smelly shoes right?

Again, why the fuck would anyone change their money three times (fiat > bitcoin > moviecoin) just to buy movie tickets online when they can already do that with fiat or bitcoin?

I applaud the guy suggesting to wait for ethereum but the dev of this coin is obviously not a programmer. This is a coingen coin, plain and simple.
No self-respecting programmer would release a piece of shit like this. And do it so poorly.

Don't waste your hashing power supporting copycoins. You are just weakening the community.

The reward structure sucks compared to how many coins are premined.

If your going to make shit at least reward us for mining it

Yes 20 million pre-mine is too much compared to 50,000 reward for the first 4 days... this is BS. No point mining at all.

Why not?

flat vs moviecoin:

Moviecoin is safer and can finish the payment easier. A simple example from our website:
If you want to watch some online VIP movies/videos oversea, it's really inconvenient pay for them. Usually a credit card must be used which is unsafe and your personal information would be in risk. Moviecoin would change this situation and make people can enjoy excellent movies easier and faster around the world!

Moviecoin vs bitcoin:

Yes, bitcoin is the ancestor. But moviecoin is more focus on the movie specific world and would play a more professional role.
It's kind of like we already have gold, but we still use USD/EUR/GBP.

This is my last time to reply those kind of posts!
If you don't like moviecoin, please just walk way!

Do you think it's not a waste of your hashing power mining coins(call themselves an improvement of bitcoin) but further from real life?

So far you are the only person using @outlook.com.
Could you please register another account with gmail, yahoo or some other email?

I'm afraid there is a connection problem between our pool server and hotmail.com.
Our ISP is unlikely to fix this issue for us specially.

new pool???

Not yet!

These two pools are still working fine(except can't send email to xxxx@outlook.com).
So we don't open new pool now in order to not scatter the hash rate.

Thanks @TheMightyX. Agreed this kind of coin development is *NOT* helping the crypto community. In fact, it's only going to cause everyone that loses money investing in these copycoins to warn their friends away from crypto - you're actually hurting blockchain development. @MovieCoin your argument for why this will reduce friction in payment for movies is just evidence that crypto would improve the system, but you do not offer *ANYTHING* unique or beneficial over simply using Bitcoin itself. i made an offer to co-develop an etherum moviecoin with me that would actually offer benefits over current systems and try to offer something unique. i am disappointed that you chose to release this copycoin instead.
