AFAIK this error appears if you have entered a wrong address to send funds to.
Did you check whether you have typed the address correctly?

What is the complete error message? It should give you details on the invalid line, like this:

This is Electrum testnet. Those coins aren't "real", they are meant for testing and you can get tons of them for free.

You are trying to send them to a Bitcoin "mainnet" address, which is the network where the coins are worth real money and can be used to purchase goods. It's like trying to use monopoly money to pay your bills.

Main net addresses start with 1, 3 or bc1 (like the one you are trying to send: 1GEWcS...)
Test net addresses start with n, m, t or 2 (e.g: mipcBb...)

1. Those are not real Bitcoins. They are "testnet" Bitcoins meant for testing and they are not worth anything.
2. Main-net Bitcoin addresses can't start with n or m, which both of your addresses do.

If you were expecting main-net Bitcoins from someone, you probably got scammed. If you got them from a test-net faucet, you probably thought they were real Bitcoins, while they are not. I suggest you to study more and search the difference between testnet and mainnet.

From where did you receive those coins? You are probably opening the "Electrum Testnet" software. You need to use just "Electrum".

There are a few people who mine testnet (especially when they are testing, so they have coins to test with and mined blocks which are mostly needed for testing).
But this doesn't give those coins a value. Like the name says, it is a testnet, with the pure intention to test stuff on it.

Did you receive them via a free faucet? Or did you buy / exchange them?

Where is your bitcoins from? Is it from exchange site you must add more info about if where you get the bitcoin because if you request on withdrawal or send your bitcoin from exchange site or faucet to testnet it shouldn't work and it should shows invalid bitcoin address so if you bought your bitcoin to someone like TryNinja said maybe you've scam.

they are "real coins" and people are "mining them". they just don't have any value. and if TestNet coins gain any sort of value the whole TestNet will be reset. it actually has happened before in early days, people started trading TestNet coins so it was abondoned and a new TestNet was started instead of it.
