Hi,

I've mined the dopecoin from the beginning and i follow time to time the news. i was at the V3 dopcoin. i've just discover that there is (again...) another dopecoin V4.

is there a way to change my V3 dopecoin to V4 ?

Is there swap needed to use the new Wallet v4 ? When i launch the v4 i didn't see any dopecoins.

Sadly the old v3 DopeCoin chain is no longer active. We tried to give everyone fair warning and announced the swap for 2 months across all social media channels. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done at this point.

I feel terrible hearing about this types of situations and can send you some coins from my personal stash to help get you going again. Please send me a pm and I will look into things for you.

That is very kind @zuepfi11 and i do appreciate your offer. But i was in the adventure since the beginning of 2014. I have mined most of my hard eaned Dopecoins- more than 240 K.

I have followed Dopecoin throught the last 3 years. i have swapped my coins till V3. And since november 2016 i was busy on other subject. Then i came back in april 2017 to learn that i miss the V4 swap. 

I keep hope that Dopey can help me out, but it's quite embarrasing to loose your entire wallet just because of few months without activity.....really.

And i'm sure i'm not the only one who keep a "sleeping" wallet that just became a dead wallet.

We have been working hard behind the scenes and it is my pleasure to announce our 2nd partnership with an online shop in Canada!

I proudly present www.shopthc.ca

This website will allow medical marijuana patients to receive their medicine anywhere in Canada through the mail and will also be accepting DopeCoin as a payment/reward system once we complete some more integration and API work.

How will it work?

Frequent customers will create a login to the site which will track their fiat purchases. Once the user purchases a certain amount of products, they will be rewarded with DopeCoin's which they can then use towards their next purchase or they will have the ability to withdraw the funds to their own personal wallet or an exchange of their choice.

Let's look at a quick example.

A frequent user buys $100 worth of product and is credited with $5 worth of DopeCoin's.
The next time they make a purchase they have the ability to use those DopeCoin's as part of their payment.

This simple system will allow the shop owners to provide their customers with a unique marijuana-related reward and will also force new users and interest into the coin on a massive scale.

As this is operating online and not in a physical location, the opportunity for growth, exposure and user friendliness is through the roof!

No longer will the user be forced to carry their coin's on a mobile app and then walk into a store and make a purchase, instead they can simply place orders online, manage their DopeCoin transactions online, and receive their medicine to their door without even having to leave the house.

I am not personally involved with the actual transactions or distribution of any of these products. But I am helping with DopeCoin integrations and in some cases graphic design and branding services.

Greetings team DopeCoin!

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on what is going on with our dispensary partners.

We are currently working on starting the creation of a payment API for DopeCoin which will allow payments to be processed directly on our test shop.

Once this is completed, we will integrate the changes over to Lifted Bud and DopeCoin will soon be in place to process payments directly on the site.
In addition, we are also working on setting up DopeCoin's to be used as a reward system for frequent shoppers and those making large purchases in fiat.

Lifted Bud will also be acting on a larger scale as a wholesaler and my team and I will be personally building all-in-one shops for additional retail and local partners in Canada.

Essentially, new partners will be able to start their own shop which already comes preloaded with products, DopeCoin integration, access to medical cards and delivery and fulfillment already setup on the back end.

The new partners will simply have to adjust their prices from the wholesale pricing, (in order to make their margin) and start taking orders.

Of course, there will be some additional challenges in the process including some setup and training for everything to run smoothly.

We understand this and as a solution, we have created a test shop where this functionality will be tested and incorporated as it becomes available in order to make the process as smooth and simple for everyone involved as possible.

I will clearly state here now that I do not have anything to do with actually selling or mailing out any kinds of products but am merely setting up the technical aspects for those who are able and licensed to operate within this industry.

Now please take into consideration that this is quite ambitious and there is no guarantee that we will be successful, I am a realistic guy and I don't want to bullshit anyone. But, with that being said, it is in the pipeline and being actively worked on and things are looking pretty damn good.
