On newest v4.0.0.1 of Mac wallet. Says 1 connection but there's no syncing going on. How to fix?
did you add the conf file? |

So I had 31251.46291585 Dopecoins in the coinomi dev Android wallet ... I was just wondering if there was a way I can get those coins back? I opened up the Coinomi DEV wallet released around 2015 and I selected Dopecoin and it says No connection. Once again, i'm talking about the DEV version that was released a while ago with Dopecoin support and not the current Offical version.
at the moment i'm not too optimistic about getting them back, but it would always be nice if I could

Sadly to hear that you've missed it, but closing the swap was necessary to bring integrity to the coin... |

To be honest I didn't follow it at all. Didn't realize I had to. That being said, I'll live, learn and pass it on... was there any technical reason why, the swap couldn't have been kept open? |

You are right... you are not "obligated" to follow... but who spends their money on a nascent currency and doesn't keep up with whats going on? I know this comes off harsh but it is what it is.

If nothing can be done for those which missed the swap like me, then I guess I am out of DopeCoinGold  Midmir . .you mentioned 15,000 'old' coins @ 20sats and now the 'new' coin is worth 600 sats ... so on a swap deal you'd need to divide your 'old' coins by a factor of 30 so that you are made whole ... 15000 /30 = 500 dopecoin gold . .send me an address and I'll give you 500 of mine if it really means that much to you |

You see and that is the problem... This is a high-risk investment with massive volatility and is using experimental technology. If you are just noticing that you missed the swap now it means that this is the first time THIS YEAR that you have even checked in on your investment. I realize the situation is not ideal but the reality is that you should be paying more attention to an investment of this caliber. And, yes, that might come across as perhaps rude to anyone who missed the swap but on the other hand, I believe that many will agree with this statement. |
