Aren't you all enjoying the super low price of dopecoin right now .. I know I am .. picking and plucking up all those cheap coins  I suppose I am somewhat at an advantage because I know where development is at with certain websites .. so, here's your bit of insider knowledge ... I would imagine that once more investors take notice of the "REAL" work DOPE COIN GOLD is doing then many will cut their losses in the other MJ coins that just spread "FAKE" news and propaganda to boost their price. Time will tell that we are the only true MJ coin Buy up now while the price is low as this train is going to be steaming out of the station very soon. The world is waking up to bitcoin and crypto as secure reliable currency, we will probably see BTC at 4000USd within this year the world is also slowly legalising Cannabis too so that only gives us more fuel to blast this thing to the moon and more places to use DOPE coins  a payment. Glad to be a part of it and appreciate what a good team is behind this coin. |

Are you trying to open a wallet from a previous version of DopeCoin? Yes old copy of wallet.dat. 2014 Old version of dope coin is no longer valid. Unfortunately, your coins in the old wallet are lost. |

Well... If you spent time or money on Bitcoin/Dope coin and in the future there is a hard fork... as there has been hundreds of times in different coins... and you didnt care enough to follow your time/money investment when the majority of everyone else did...
I would say its your fault and not the specific coins fault. I believe the fork happened here because the coin was dying and the last dev team wasnt doing what needed they needed to do to actually keep the coin going. You invested in a shit coin it sounds like... the new Dope Coin actually has a development team working. Maybe you should have done more due diligence before spending your money?
But hey.. what do I know.

I agree! The fact of the matter is that you should have checked your investment more than once every 2 years...
We are using experimental technology and are operating in an extremely volatile marketplace where fortunes are made and lost rapidly.
It is your responsibility to check your crypto portfolio on a regular basis and not simply pop in after 2 years once we hit a million market cap...
Keep in mind you are talking about a V2 wallet which has been out of operation for well over 2 years.
I'm sorry for your lost investment and thankfully DopeCoin was not worth much back in the day sitting at 20 satoshi so chances are that you did not suffer a massive financial impact.
There have been about 20 people who have come out of the woodwork since DopeCoin's recent rise. Some of them approached the situation maturely and I personally gave them coins from my own stash. Others... did not.
I hope everyone can learn from this experience and give your crypto portfolios the same attention as a real world investment that requires constant monitoring in order to successfully profit.

HI guys, is there a new MAC wallet floating around, my current version 4.01 sees to have lost most of its nodes , I dropped from 26 down to just 3 active connection now. Still staking and getting good ROI so as long as this continues I'm happy. (I'm a bit of a node Whore lol) |
