First of all, I wanted to send my best wishes to all the DopeCoin supporters, their friends and family, and the crypto community during these challenging times.
It's my pleasure today to announce our most significant update related to the DopeCoin project since it's creation in early 2014.
After 2.5 years and 20,000+ hours of development we are proud to officially launch Grow Advertising,
www.growadvertising.com (best viewed on desktop), to the general public.
Over the last year we have been working closely and discretely with strategic partners to create the most sophisticated advertising technology available to restricted industries like crypto, cannabis/CBD, Vape/Ecig, gambling/betting and more.
As you might be aware, the above mentioned industries are completely or partially restricted from advertising or earning advertising revenue from traditional partners like Google, Facebook, Taboola, and others.
This restriction forces these emerging billion dollar industries to handle advertising requests through either an archaic and labor intensive email process between publisher and advertiser or the use of sub par technology that lacks any kind of substantial targeting and reporting features.
As a result, advertising traffic in these industries is expensive and ineffective and also includes a heavy upfront financial commitment to simply test new ad campaigns.
Could you imagine having to pay several thousand dollars to simply be able to test an ad campaign and then not have the capability to target your ads effectively or be provided with the analytical data to see where your campaigns were effective?
This is referred to as the “Pay, Spray, and Pray” technique in the ad tech industry and is proven to be extremely ineffective for nearly all advertising campaigns.
Grow Advertising is here to revolutionize that process and provide these restricted industries with self-serve advertising exchange technology, similar to Google Ads, that provides publishers and advertisers with the tools they need to buy and sell advertising space in today's competitive marketplace.
Over the last year and a half we have been working exclusively with
www.bitcoin.com to function test and dial in our technology. Over this period of time we have had the opportunity to take our technology from a prototype stage to a fully commercially ready product that we are pleased to officially release today, July 31st, 2020.
We also took the opportunity to partner up with an original shark from the hit TV show Shark Tank, Kevin Harrington and have been working closely with his team to dial in our sales and growth strategy.
He and his team will also be providing us with contacts and support if we choose to raise VC or Private Equity funds in the future.
Our objective moving forward is to provide our services to restricted industry publishers while simultaneously attracting paying advertisers with our voucher redemption program which allows advertisers to try our technology for free with the objective of transforming a certain percentage into paying customers.
As our database of placements grows we will be simultaneously building the worlds first SSP (supply side platform) of restricted ad placements which we can then provide to other advertising exchanges who are interested in providing their advertisers with a new revenue stream.
Additionally, mainstream publishers will now have the opportunity to earn money from restricted industries and be able to sell crypto, cannabis, casino ads, and more on their websites and earn revenue that was never available to them in the past due to policies from ad tech giants like Google.
The best part is that these mainstream publishers will be able to earn revenue with Grow Advertising while simultaneously earning revenue from Go
ogle Ads if they wish and will face zero interruption to their current and existing revenue streams. This provides an easy to understand and risk free barrier to entry.
Our plan when embarking on this journey was to provide a real world use case for DopeCoin. We know that the only way to truly bring value to our currency is to have people using it on a daily basis for commerce and on a massive scale.
Many of our competitors have relied on publicity stunts or building hype to increase their valuations which we strongly disagree agree with from both a business and moral perspective.
We have always lead the marijuana crypto industry in technology and continue to assert that dominance with the launch of Grow Advertising.
Moving forward we will be working to onboard publishers in a variety of restricted industries while earning commissions on the advertising revenue we generate for them
Once we are successful at creating a thriving marketplace we will introduce DigiGreen (DopeCoin rebranded) as an incentivized payment, rewards, and voucher option and finally complete our goal of providing a real world use case for our currency.
Trading on the Grow token has been halted for the time being and well ahead of this announcement to avoid any sort of market manipulation. Our goal is to provide Grow token holders with an ROI on their investment when we introduce DigiGreen as a payment option and are currently exploring ways to do that which make sense for everyone involved.
The reality is that this project took much longer to develop and cost much more than originally expected and as a result we have had to rethink our approach in order to see this project come to life and have an opportunity to thrive on the global marketplace.
The vast majority of ICO's raised big money and had more experienced teams and infrastructure yet still went bankrupt or collapsed over the last few years. We believe in this opportunity so strongly that our development team all contributed substantial financial and tech development resources over the last couple of years in order to bring Grow Advertising to life.
Our number one objective moving forward is to make Grow Advertising successful and fulfill our mission of providing the cannabis industry and others with a legitimate digital currency capable of providing payment gateway, advertising, and business development solutions for the blockchain world of tomorrow.
