I use and recommend Electrum. It's lightweight and comes with a great feature - the "seed", which enables you to retrieve your bitcoins should you lose your computer or it is compromised in any way.

+1 to Electrum. You don't need to download the full block data with it, and you only need to backup the 12-words seed.

Bitcoin-QT on desktop, blockchain.info web wallet on smartphone. A winning combination.

I also use Armory, it is incredibly safe. Nobody can get my bitcoins even if they hack my computer, as the actual wallet is stored on a USB and used on a different, offline computer. Sure it takes more time for me to send my bitcoins somewhere, but I'll take the 99.9% security over convenience any day.

Some of them, such as blockchain.info, do.  Others don't.

The others are bugged and weird.

I use the Blockchain and the Andriod app. I've start using the QT for other coins but I have a datalimit so I'm waiting for it to reset before downloading the Bitcoin blockchain.

I use Blockchain because moving a low sums, is fast, easy way to create account, no need to sync, but if I had too much could keep a client PC or on paper wallet.

localbitcoins.com, bitstamp, btc-e should not be considered as web wallet. Do u own the private key of those wallets like u do for blockchain.info or carbonwallet.com ?
