Correct. With the current situation in the market, palying day trading would be best done if proper monitoring of prices is executed. Also patience play a vital role in day trading because you would somehow encounter losses and that you need to hodl to not get totally lost in a trade.

The thing with trading is that you will always require a very good strategy to be able to do right and once that strategy is not in place, everything a trader does is gamble afterwards.

The thing is that, as long as you do not know when should be the right time for you to buy, or the right time to sell or have a planned stop loss just in case things does not work out the way you want, the chances of getting screwed will always be there because in that case, what the person would be depending on is luck and that is gambling.

Trading is best way to make money and it is better when you come to crypto trade, here you will have the opportunity to make huge profit rather than dealing with traditional trade it will be more profitable when you come to crypto trade especially Bitcoin trade. Ofc alternative coins have volatility, its +/- 20% daily. I prefer to use binance for trading. GDAX i think has no fees but people have problems with their customer service.

You are totally wrong gambling is something different and trading is business but not for inexperienced persons. In gambling you will face your opponent but in trading there is no opponent and you just watching the screen to catch the opportunity for getting profit. If you do not sell your coins when the price downs you will never lose your money.

The price of the altcoin for now is too volatile. Day trading is the best way to earn profit everyday. Even this dropped drastically, the situation recovers so well after all and I hope that this will become progressive before December come. But I have to agree that we have learn so much in the bear market as compare to bull season we see last year.
