Investment in Alts vs BTC?

I have always believed in stability and the value of domination will increase over time of BTC electronic money. Therefore, I give BTC a long-term investment. But the Altcoin is equally attractive. Therefore, I also carefully selected and invested the Altcoin to make a profit. Time to invest in the Altcoin depends on the market and the Altcoin itself.

Btc went from 6.4k to 7.4k. Xrb went from free/10ish cent to $35. Ripple went from 2 cents or something to $3. ADA went from less than 1 cent (presale it was) to 1+$.

So...in two to three months you could've had better gains in specific alts then you would've by holding btc for a year.

Like the other said. The moment btc goes sideways, the alts will have their time, and their gains can be bigger, simply because their potential growth (short term) is higher.

also, take into account that Cryptocurrencies are programmable money. Different cryptos work with different programs. Some people don't care about market caps, triangles on charts, portfolio management... some people care about technical merits  .

Yes if you want to safe investment btc is the best choice do you have in cryptocurrency, but you can't get a lot of profit when invested in btc. But if u dare to take a risk, investing in alts or ico is very profitable if your lucky!

as you said above you holding ethereum as well,, and you already know if a good altcoins like eth is deserve to be in our bag for long term investments right ?

Well mate, in depends on what type of investment you want to invest. Bitcoin is a secure investment in a long term. It give you more profitable earnings and the risk is slight only. But if you want to earn in a short period of time or short term investment. You can invest your a good altcoins.  Just make sure that you will research everything about it before investing.

if you want to expand your portfolio, well btc is still a good choice than investing Alts and ICO. But in my opinion alts is a good source as well and you can obtain a huge profits on it but depends on the potential of coins which coin that will make a good return after long season .and i think it's good to hold an alt coins that affected on bitcoin growth rate as well to assure you can multiply your profits when the market stabilize.

If I want to invest in ICO I make sure the ICO is good enough and innovative in project development that is done and communicative to all people and participants so we know the progress so we are safe in investing in their ICO, but if want to be safe and long term I choose Bitcoin.

I agree with your opinion. investing in ICO is nice and promising for your life, but if you do your first research you may get a lot of benefits because if you do not do research, you may be exposed to fraud in it. I advise you not to miss it if you want to participate in ICO.

How do you know those companies will create FOMO?

I'm not sure s well whether if happened before since I've always trusted the coins I have invested. Although I see the price go up almost 20% in a day and suddenly drop I am not hearing them creating news every time the price go up though but there are traders that bought the coins I'm not sure if they feel they are scammed.

i think if you have an enough capital, you you should invest in bitcoin and altcoins too

I think BTC is a long term investment. It has great fluctuations and good year-by-year growth. However, if you want to invest in Bitcoin you need to have deep knowledge to avoid losing money unfortunately. Most altcoin are newer, higher potential and safer than Bitcoin

well actually if you are investing in both. Since neither altcoin nor the bitcoin, both can be equally profitable. And both are also much in need of being able to invest in ICO project. Because the current ICO project also many payment with bitcoin or altcoin.

I don't invest in ICO's so that's a crossed out choice, alts are good investment but only those coins like ETH. But the coin that gave me most return none other than bitcoin, this is the reason why I still holding it.

If bitcoin is rising then altcoins rise faster than bitcoin in terms of percentage because they have lower price but it depends on total market capitalization as well. You can also choose to invest in ICOs because it has a possibility that it will rise more when listed in exchanges but the opposite may happen as well.

If the ICO has a holding period bonus then it would be better because there is a possibility that token holders would not dump their coins. If you want to be conservative then invest in bitcoin but if you want high risk but a possibility of having high rewards then investing in altcoins is good as well as long as they have good fundamentals.

i get more return from ico, universa project became my first ico choice. from there I get a profit and then I invest in another ico which I think has a good project as a long-term investment.

All of them are really good to invest or to put your money as long as you know what you are doing do some search vey well and for sure you will be fine learn how to do charts so you can know when is the perfect time to buy and to sell. Don't fomo or don't ride the running train or else you will be injured.

if I have more funds, I feel better to invest with bitcoin, but because the funds I have are relatively small then I invested with ICO, yes even though it is risky, but I am happy to live it, it all depends everyone.
