Where would ICOs be today without bitcointalk forum? What will they do if the forum shuts down for some odd reason? From the posts I read (I stated before in a post, I am more of a reader than a poster, so pardon my mistakes), it seems that all ICOs are breathing bitcointalk.org. It's probably one of the last active and alive forum in the world and the essence of all Initial Coin Offerings that are launching every day. They are way too many, and too many think they can raise tons of money to fund their ideas easily. As a matter of fact, this forum is the only real catapult for ICOs along with its community. The rest looks like a morning dense fog that tests your driving skills to the max... people(investors) get crashed a lot lately in the ICOs ERA driving through the foggy projects that kids invent every day to get some "lambo" cash.
So the big question, where will ICOs stand till 2020? 99% scam | 0.5% legit projects | 0.5% worthless legit projects; Will bitcointalk still alow ICOs to be posted/promoted/pumped in here?

This is a good observation. As a matter of fact, i have not seen any ICO lunched without passing through bitcointalk forum. Virtually every developer knows that this forum houses so millions of investors. Even developers who are yet to be registered here, still find their ways here or connect with someone who is already registered here in order to publicize their projects.

Until the ruling from the government, I won't be investing in ICOs. And yes, bitcointalk is their lifeline. ICOtalk isn't too popular.

I think icos would still survive
There are no impossible in this modern world and there can be no underestimation either Which is why there is need to be optimistic always
I think the forum should find a way to regulate and fish out the fake icos from using the forum Let’s be positive

I do not believe that bitcointalk is major opportunity for ICOs to let investors know about themself. Bounties do not bring that much hype like good rate on icodrops or review from Suppoman

You are right with your point. Bitcointalk might be a backbone to ICO now but nothing is impossible, the world is changing and innovative ideas through is going on. So ideas may come up that will provide an avenue of promoting ICOs and detect a scam one.

I think I share the opinion above that bitcointalk forum though was once a platform to get investors, it now has turned into a site for just money making by ICO promoting members.
Interestingly not many are concerned with the projects they are promoting and has now taken it as a earn n dump on DEX strategy

Don't worry too much about it. It won't be the end of the world. If a Pope dies, another one is going to be elected! As simple as that. If bitcointalk won't be available for any reason tomorrow, next day there will be another forum or portal running exactly the same business.

Yes, that. I have monitored ICOs that chose to bypass Bitcoin talk and then didn't do that well — may not have been the only reason, but one of the glaring ones for sure. Engaging with potential investors directly is vital, and the forum is one of the best places to do that, if not the best. If it goes, something else will take its place, guaranteed.

It is difficult to imagine really, I think that if Bitcointalk did not exist, we would have to invent it. I have never had so much fun in any other forum I have participated in.

You have a point there because if one way closes, thousands open up for live to continue. It is certain as it stands now that cryptocurrency and blockchain has come to stay and no doubt that bitcointalk forum non the less, is a very big support for ico

I like ICOs, I like bitcointalk,.I like.technologies and I like bounties. All of these.aspects are related and.informstion about.all of them firstly appears on this.forum and only.after that on other crypto resources. I personally reviewing the.project by checking the ANN link on BTT to see who is the topic starter and how many replies are already posted in the threads. This is.very important for me.

I want to believe that the death of a thing might bring about the birth of another. If bitcointalk cease to exist, I believe that another forum will rise up for ICOs to be promoted. Other than that, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and other social media platforms can also be used to publicize these ICOs.

There are alot of investor does not know about this forum and how this forum work. Successfully of ICO is not totallly according to they make promotion in this forum or not. I think other thing that make investor interesting about ICO project is article and explanation about fundamental of that project. I think in next 10 year ICO still booming and can be become more popular when regulation come in to this market.

The forum has many advantages and disadvantages. But what is certain is that bitcointalk is a leader of formative opinion.

I think ICO without bitcointalk less sale of tokens, less volume on trading, lower value of tokens and bitcoin also. I'm pretty sure that lower scam ICO Without Bitcointalk no life on cryptocurrency.

Well, ICOs can be advertised on social networks. One can create a Twitter account, a Facebook group, an Instagram account, a Telegram channel... It is also possible to write articles on Steemit and Medium to attract the necessary audience. Surely bitcointalk is a very convenient place, because a signature campaign can be launched here. As for the scam problem - I think it is a matter of time, eventually only good projects will be available. Nowadays the problem is that many people invest unwisely, without considering at least some essential factors like whitepaper, roadmap, team and partners. People will learn more about cryptocurrencies and about ICOs, so nobody will invest in obviously shitty projects. Perhaps some governmental regulation will also help on this matter.

ICOs will still be allowed here in the forum because scams aren't moderated. Some changes might be added to control the spam if things get out of hand. Without Bitcointalk, ICOs will still be here they'll move to a different forum to promote their ICO maybe on Ver's forum. A huge percentage of it will still be scams there's no change to it because most coins are only used for pumping.

I think ICOs can do other ways of promoting also from Bitcointalk but Bitcointalk is the only way to go to find good real crypto investors and developers and enthusiast! So Bitcointalk is very important for ICOs
