added 5Mh to the network.

Lets see what happens.

Maybe the network explode? Smiley

Well, actually I have the daemon that died while running into the pool.
I'm investigating the issue and I hope to find a solution soon.
Sorry.

The solution for the pool seems only to download all the chains again from zero.
This will take some hours as nodes are not to much Sad

Stopped mining this coin for now.

I have start the download of all chaing again, I take informed when all will be finished to download into the pool.

But I see that my qt-wallet into the pc is not syncronized with the networks (it is using the official node as for the pool), so I'm suspecting that daemon problem was due to not being able to featch data from network.
Actaully I put other seeds inside configuration, so I hope this help.

thanks

pc qt wallet are very slow in download old blocks and server download only 1/5 of blocks.

I will on school in an hour (I don't think that server can download all in so little time), but I will check the all thing after 5 hours before going to sleep in middle night to see if pool is up.

Maybe the official node cannot handled all networks requests by itself with the network traffic increasing and this could have cause some problems (pool daemon stop working and refuse to start again). But this is a my assumption looking at pool logs, maybe the cause could be something different.

I have been asking for nodes since march 1st. lack of coin control means that dust is killing my CPU and I can't send coins to myself to eliminate this problem because I am not synced to the network.

This problem needs to be looked at ASAP. I am work so I can't do much but my GRW client is running on one of my GPU rigs.

Pool download is now at 1/4 of total blocks.

I'm back in 5h to see the state before sleep.

we don't need random blocks or KGW.

what we need is coin control and multiple wallets.
we need a bit more PR. We need to get on mintpal and cryptsy.

I just jumped on board, after reading your post on your HBN journal
thread. So hopefully more do the same!  Cool

And like you mention would be nice to have those wallet features.

Don't know how many people are supporting the coin, but mintpal
would seem someway off before getting listed. Especially when the
top listed coins have large paid votes.

We need more interest and one easy thing is to add to our sig file.

Is anyone lined up to do the website? I see talk of a domain, has
one been picked yet?

I just registered growthco.in and can setup a website if no one
has started yet. I can also push the domain to new dev if that's
preferred (namecheap.com).

And although this thread isn't the ANN, could we still add a few of
the coins features, such as PoS etc. Might help get more peoples
attention?

Syncing is going to take a while, with only 2/3 connections!  Grin

Look forward to how this coin can develop in the near future  Cool

Looks like there's been a fork. My client was showing super low difficulty, which didn't look right, and a test send to coinex confirmed my suspicions.

I restored from a slightly older backup, synced new blocks, and now an attempt to send is complaining "Error: The transaction was rejected.  This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here." This happens even after repairwallet and -rescan (which usually recovers coins after a fork and restore of an older backup to sync to the right chain).

Trying a blockchain download from scratch.

I had a problem with a withdrawal from CoinEx:

GRW withdrawal failed about a minute ago
Errors: address is invalid

Would this be a related issue? it's an address created from the wallet
so no idea why I'm getting that message!

deleted my blockchain, downloading again. I will also be running the client 24/7 until we get some dedicated nodes and more connections to the network.

pool coind still with problem. it seems to have dowload double of previous data (!) but daemon died again.

Now i must go to sleep, and tomorrow I will see what happen.

Effectively the idea of fork being in act could be a reason of strange data corruption it seems to be in download chains.
