If any of the two main Credit Card companies is going to normalise the use of cryptocurrencies it is likely to be Mastercard as they have been less virulent in their criticism and more active in preparing for adoption. I would rather that a point of sale system of cryptocurrencies opened up to challenge the duopoly of Mastercard and Visa, but I have not seen a serious proposal to do that but I am sure that is what is driving Mastercard to embrace crypto.

Question here is why go crypto.

We all know they are the most used when it comes to billing in the internet world.
Mastercard and Visa. Some online shops only have this two options and some have a lot. Paymaya, and Paypal are next which is really competing with the two.
I dont think they have completed it yet. They might be in talks about this but what the hell, most people will still use Mastercard instead of a coin. That is just reality.
