I noticed something alarming: The price of BC directly depends on one multipool being on. When BCmultipool is down, BC goes down, even if there are others multipool available (check what happened today between 15 and 16h30 GMT). This gives these guys at BCmultipool an insane amount of power. They could orchestrate a shutdown, get the money and stat the pool again.
I am concerned. I was right. Sadly. Now that the bcmultipool is down, the price stagnates. Those who invested at 7500+ are actually losing money ATM. So much for triumphalist speeches. BTW, what is the timezone of the multipool developpers? The would give some insight on how long it will remain broken. Can you do the community a favour? Sell and go away. So that there are no worries of the price rise and fall! Sell to me, infact!

It's like asking the Wright Bros. after they just landed on the sand dune how come there are not commercial flights yet...........

David, the good thing is that we became billionaires with MINT so far, so we can afford to lose some money over BC the gained only 44% today. I really miss the face-palm smiley ...

Hey guys, remember that you can trade your BlackCoins Makes me think: how will a PoS affect exchanges in the long run? As I said before, Blackcoin is 8 hours stake, so thiis is still manageable to wait for the stake then trade, but how does the stake works exactly? I see two different ways: - the " Mintcoin way": every coin has a coin age. Without knowing the coin age of each individual coin you might lose interest (this is especially try of you have coin age spread all over the 20-days period). In this scenario, having a way to know which coin are "safe to trade" is crucial (hence a properly developped wallet) - the " traditional way": like in a bank; every given period (for a bank it is usually 15 days), a "snapshot" of your account is done and used as a basis for calculating your interests. That's why in a bank you can have 1000 euros on the 3rd of the month, remove 800 in the 6th of the month and get 600 back on the 14th. On the 16th, you will get 900 and the interests will be calculated on the final total 800, not on the 300 "faithful coins"' that never left the wallet I have no idea how blackcoins. Do you? By the way, if you have shorter names for these two behaviours, I am interested.

Also, BC hasn't even reached the peak market cap that MINT hit during its total pump and dump. Just saying. I'd also rather the devs take their time and get the pool working 100% as intended.

New coins are created by POS at a rate of 1% annually So blackcoin is an inflationary coin, like dogecoin is planning to become. We used to be able to categorise by - great coin (Bitcoin) and shit coin (Pandacoin) (highly subjective) - PoW coin (Bitcoin), PoS coin (NXT), hybrid coin (Blackcoin), other (Heavycoin) - SHAcoin (Bitcoin) and scrypt-like coin (scrypt, scrypt-jane, N-factor, KGW or not, others...) Now we can add another category: deflationary coins (almost all of them) inflationary coins (dogecoin [planned], blackcoin) Any other categorisation you may have in mind?

This is good. Dumping has continued for the last 5 or so hours and has actually had a positive effect on price - try as they may they dumpers have been unable to get BC down below 7000 for any extended length of time. We are now back at 8000 with strong buy support, a new price floor, positive news from the Multipool team letting us know they will be operational shortly and overall we have stabilised around $3 Million USD in market capitalization.
The next 12 hours will be very interesting, I'm picking 10,000 is not far off.

Heads up; BC will be listed on Cryptsy on March 28th Will it kill it like it does for every coins? Why do you think there will be more volume there then there already is at Mintpal? The reason Cryptsy kill most coins is that they are crap to begin with, just waiting to get on cryptsy for the big dump.

Feel so fucking stupid.. I was here from day one mining & renting miners etc. Got up to a total of 150K Bc's with spending around 1btc in total. Shitty times came along and I held through the 400satoshi time, but when it went to 3500, i had to sell. I didnt want to, as I had preached here 5K was cheap, 10K was lowest aim.. And look at me now, I sold a week ago. Got like 3btc, Had i kept it all now I'd get over 12btc. Fuck me. Goodluck in the future, I can't stay here, i'd kill myself when you guys reach 20-40K sat. May the future be bright.

I know it's a bit off topic; but is normal for you to use a (,) instead of a (.) to separate between dollars and cents? In the US, we use (.) Yes, in Canada (and maybe anywhere that use metric system?) Not everywhere. This is unrelated to metric system. Some use apostrophe as the thousand separator (look at NXT official client, for instance) and in France with use no-break space as a thousand separator and comma as decimal separator (hence, we never use the dot). It makes copy and pasting to spreadsheet a complex issue, btw.

Relax man, you earned money, that is enough, we ain't God or warren buffett. Well yeah, people always tell me that, you can't think like that etc etc. The difference is, I knew that this coin would have success, and had it not been that I absolutely HAD to sell, I would never have sold under 10k... So, I will think like that, sadly.

I have a question these top 3 wallets have each gained % over the past day. Ok, but the % is real close to the same for each of them. First look I seen 15% for each, then 8% for each now 7% for each. Why would they be going up the same % each time. They went up again so does anybody still think these are just exchanges?
