My autopay threshold just got hit on CryptoCoinz and the coins never made it to my wallet.... Nice. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey!  Andrew from CryptoCoinz here.

BlackCoin has a 500-block maturity time.  This means that it takes 500 blocks (about 8.5 hours) for any blocks you earn to be paid out.  This is a restriction of the coin itself, mind you, and not the pool.

HOWEVER, please note (as it says in the giant blue box at the top of our page) we have temporarily turned off auto payments to ensure we don't run into any snaffus like this.  We're going to audit the system in the morning, and if it seems fine, run everyone's payments all at once under a keen eye.  If you don't wish to wait, manual payouts will be on the entire time.

Please let us know if you have any further issues!

I think I was just tripping out a bit and thought my coins hit the threshold, my bad! So we are then forced to leave our coins in the pool overnight? I'm gonna be sweatin' in my sleep and hoping the coins are there in the morning!  

I know the feeling; nobody can tell you to trust us  I wish I could change it, but EVERY pool will be that way due to the nature of the coin's maturity system (it's extreme!).  If it'd make you feel better, feel free to come talk to us on irc.freenode.net in #crypto-coinz - we're real people mining on the same system!

At CC, there are only two people that have access to any hot wallets (you know, as a failsafe, in case one of us ever gets hit by a bus): myself and Anthony, the owner of the Datacenter.  All hot wallets are backed up regularly, along with our dedicated data and web servers.  It helps to limit risk on our part, as well as yours.
