This is the one coin that I will not be dumping like I do many others, it's unique in my eyes, and like many other coins that get dumped quickly after hitting an exchange and go down in satoshi, I believe that the opposite will happen with this one, it will only go up from here, especially after we hit PoS. I'm confused anyway to be honest. The OP implies PoS payments will start after block 5000, and mining will stop at 10000, and max supply is 10000. So does PoS stop at 10000 also, so we just end up with TX fees after that?

This one's difficutly went up from the interest at launch from what I see. You have proof of the instamine? One thing for sure it isn't premined, and if it was created from Wolongs Dev, well my hats off to him. For once he did something right!

Yeah it was like 20 difficulty in an hour. There was nobody who got any benefit to any sort of instamine on this one. Just scroll back to whatever page and you'll see all the "OMG already xx difficulty!" posts shortly after launch. Then it settled at ~40 for about a day. Obviously it's far better to mine at that then ~150, but it's not a HUGE advantage to the early adopter. I was expecting to mine 100,000 coins easy, with a target of 150,000-200,000 by the time this was finished. At the rate things are going, I may not even reach 100,000 mined so I am resorting to buying (earlier today and now as well) more coins.

I concur exactly with blade87. Was in from the very start, got lucky solo twice and have now resorted to buying. It seemed fair to me from the outset and I thought that well before I was in any meaningful way invested in it.

The launch for this was one of the most fair I have ever seen. I was able to start mining very quickly when the diff was very low and if there was an instamine, it's the smallest I've seen, the block height was very low when I started mining. I didnt hit any blocks solo unfortunately, but the launch was definitely fair and handled very well.

it's no more fair than any other coin... hell, it's less fair really.. say with dogecoin.. you could mine millions early on, yes.. but you can still profit now

blackcoin? if you're not in within week 1, you're out... it's a closed system, and you can then only buy in from those willing to sell...

Just to clarify what he was talking about, had he actually read everything instead of crying about one post, one of the pools that was up from launch was having back end issues prior to the coin being launched and this was clarified several times

This is a good exchange so far. I've successfully purchased and withdrew 78,000 coins so far. Though one of my BTC transactions going in got hung up for a while (not the exchange fault but sometimes very slow BTC transaction system) and I missed some 1300 buy opportunities. But at least only 10,000 coins were sold when it dipped to that price so I didn't miss much.

For me I am matching 1 coin mined = 1 coin bought. But I'm buying some in advance now as my buy is outnumbering my mined.

What's your opinion on BlackCoin?

BlackCoin is very similar to Mintcoin based on their initial distribution (PoW/PoS) although BlackCoin didn't reward early adaptors as much as MintCoin but there are still some rewards for those who get into it before the coin algorithm change to pure PoS after 10000 block.

Community: BlackCoin fan base is growing and very impressive for a 10 days old coin. I am sure it will be an exciting investment for long-term investors and early adaptors.
