What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? I want to choose one wallet for bitcoin holding. Which one is best and have no bugs and problems? Which one is worse? Which one is easy to instal and easy to use. Which one you just prefer for long term holding.
I think the best wallet for long term bitcoin holding is a hardware wallet. Hardware wallet is use by many for holding because it is not expose unlike an online wallet.

today there are a lot of reliable enough purses, they are called cold wallets, your data is stored on an electronic medium, such wallets are on the order of 300 - 1200 dollars and all that is needed for its work is Internet access, but there is still a cold store where your information is stored on paper and so it is impossible to break it!

Many have already gave their advise about hard wallets. These are still the most secure. But I would also say that besides secure wallet it is also good to divide your coins in multiple wallets. So, don't keep all your Bitcoins in just one wallet and also use multiple types of wallets. Besides hard wallets you can also choose paper wallets and mobile wallets. With keeping the coins on multiple places you will also rise the security and diminsh the chances for losing everything in case of some issues.

I recommend you to use Coinbase. With Coinbase, you can connect to a U.S. bank account and easily transfer dollars in or out of your dollar wallet. You can use those dollars, or transfer in new ones, to buy and sell. In addition to Bitcoin, Coinbase currently supports Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin. There are constant rumors of additional currencies like Ripple getting support from Coinbase as well. https://www.thebalance.com/

If you want to go with Bitcoin in terms of long run I would recommend you to buy yourself a ledger nano wallet which has a hardware, because it is the most secure from among other wallets that we can have.

in my opinion for storing long-term bitcoin wallets we can store them at indodax.com, it may be safer to store bitcoins in a long time.

You should create a poll for this, on top of page if its possible , this is a really interesting thread, and it would be very useful to see which one is the best "wallet" without scrolling all answers.

If your looking for best wallet for long term I recommend ledger nano s or trezor .A Hardware wallets are physical devices especially designed to safely store your Private Keys. They are considered the safest way of storing cryptocurrencies.

the term 'best' really comes down to what you deem to be the most important factor. me, personally, at least when it comes to BTC and ETH, I value security over convenience, and so I always recommend going with a hardware wallet like Ledger. there are definitely more steps involved when it comes to sending from a hardware wallet but at least you have the peace of mind knowing that it's basically unhackable, and you're 100% in control of your wallet. If you leave it on an exchange then you always face the possibility of a hack but, of course, with the bigger exchanges like Coinbase, Bittrex and Binance you probably don't have to worry much. However, there's also the consideration that many projects (e.g. ICOs, airdrop campaigns, etc) require you to send certain coins/tokens from a wallet and not an exchange (wallet) so that's another reason why keeping it in some sort of a wallet, whether it'd be web-based or hardware, is still preferable over keeping it on an exchange wallet.

I agree about the poll, this would be interesting to see how many people keep their coins online.
Of course, keeping it cold is much more secure, but don't end up like that guy whose harddrive got thrown in the trash and he had to dig through a dumpster to try and recover $1 mil worth of coins... unsuccessfully. It's just like holding onto physical gold, it has to be taken care of.
Don't keep all your eggs in one basket, right? Some can be online, some can be offline. Keep 10% on a platform like Binance to trade aggressively, and be glad that 90% is somewhere safe and sound.

I recommend using external wallet such as ledger and trezzor nano for holding long-term bitcoin. because the wallet is now very safe and good for long term use. we know if hacker attacks can happen at any time and the wallet can anticipate.

You can use any bitcoin wallet, whichever you like. There is no good wallet and a bad wallet, every wallet have some bugs and some pretty amazing stuff but every wallet are pretty the same, all have a function of keeping the bitcoins safe by keeping the private keys secure and public address connected to the internet. But the common practice back in 2015 was using a computer which never gets connected to the internet as cold storage unit and signing the transactions manually on that computer whenever needed to transact.

Only offline wallets. I recommend TREZOR because it has the least holes in the software. Very easy to use ...

I think the services of wallets vary from countries to countries, all wallets are not available worldwide. For me , Coinbase has been the best to use as I believe in long term investments and also it's really convenient to use. And as for bugs, I can't assure any wallet fully free of bugs, it has been a problem for a while now, all you can do is use it properly not giving any chance for problems to arise.

You can have a look at Bittrex here www.bittrex.com and Binance here www.binance.com I like their security level for both of them there are so good with further security measure of 2FA which will send some signal to your personal smartphone before any access will be granted to your wallet with either of them.
