The market is quite bleak so I think in 2018 the price of bitcoin will not be able to reach the price as above. To be able to reach this price it needs more time in 2019.

It does not seems that even by year end the price of 40k can be reached. But we are seeing some good moment now and seems that 2017 could be repeated in coming 5 months. We are awaiting some boost to the demand which can take the price to 10k par.

Thanks for the interesting post you shared. I also think that Bitcoin's price increases to $ 50,000 if the Securities and Exchange Commission's ETF funds are accepted, there will be a huge amount of money pumped into the market and Bitcoin prices will rise rapidly.

I think the entry of U.S. funds into the cryptocurrency market is good news for bitcoin.
For now, however, the bitcoin lightning network is still deployed, so we still need to wait a long time.

I hope it really hit that  price,  many predictions are happpening some say it will be around 60k, 40k and some below 20k , Any of this i hope bitcoin will really recover the price like last year. The price now is stable in increasing i think it will hit 10k in a few months.

When the bitcoin ETF get's approved the FOMO would be real and it could easily push bitcoin to 40-50k in my opinion.

Easier, but it gets easier also to get FUD'ed and FOMO'ed. There are also risks of making a trade on cryptocurrency market easier.

Oh God please! I just want bitcoin to get stabilised at some point and have stable prices like those of USD's and Euro's. This is not the game of rise and fall really, people should really change their mentality about the crypto currency. I guess, hoping for the $40,000 is not bad thing but its vague and it can never help bitcoins economy to grow perfectly. It can only destruct due to the pump and dumps and thus it will never be great shot for it to enter into the regulatory system or so called real world. Thats the thing, lets just hope it will be rising but more than that it should be stable at some point.

Yes i think stabilization and proper regulation would drive adoption.

Why not it's possible to happen that bitcoin can hit $40000 soon as the trading becomes easier coz we  know already the ability of bitcoin and I think if that time will come we the bitcoiners are the first who earn and get good profit as well..We need to be positive and more patient that it will happen soon...

There is big possibility that it will happen because exchanges are being regulated recently like Coinbase and people who want to to buy BTC or any Cryptocurrency can do so if they buy it on a trusted and legit exchanges without any trouble of being sue by the government.

40K usd is too high but not impossible, we all knew that bitcoin supply is limited only 21M. Thus, their is a tendency to reach this value of the demand gets higher and higher vs supply.  like what happened to 2017 trend is like a rocket going to the sky because of so many demands.

Bitcoin has the potential to hit 40K, but I don't think that it is going to happen anytime soon. Huge amounts of BTC will be credited to the ex-users of Mt Gox soon, which can trigger another episode of mass-selloff.

Maybe one of the reason for bitcoin to hit 40,000$ because those people who are not really techie can easily have confidence of themselves on how to use bitcoin because it is already easy to trade it into other cryptos and convert it into dollars.

The source of the news is not really factual, but from speculations and assumptions, bitcoin can really reach greater heights just as the later months of 2017. We are almost in the last quarter of the year, so most crypto enthusiasts are anticipating a rise in the price of bitcoin.

It's highly possible that we will see a new all time high again. However to get up there we need too see a lot of sell orders been filled up or removed. And that will take some time.
Personally I also think we can see bitcoins at 40.000 before new year, but to get there we need more adoption and more trading.
