Scammers should have come a new Idea or else they starve.. when you look about it, it doesn't make sense that they hijacked your camera then recorded your private key via screen shot.  that's so hilarious men.. I mean, how could people fall for that?

Thats right! Unfamiliar emails coming from a total strangers wouldnt be entertained, thats the basic step how to avoid being scammed or hacked. We are all responsible of our own actions. These scammers will stop their activities if a lot of people are being cautious and more careful with the suspicious activity that looks very enticing and totally avoid them. Thanks for the reminder mate. Email type of scams even phishing has been rampant lately. If you are not smart enough to distinguish whether an email or a certain site is a fraud, you might be easily lost your wealth in an instant in this modern world. This is one of most important thing you should always take note if you invest in cryptocurrency that is alertness in every hacking attempts to your wallets. If you found out something suspicious about a site or e-mail, dont ever attempt to open and entertain it.

I recently fell victim of a scam attempt and I thought I would let you all guys know. It is very well social-engineered, seems very credible and it really makes you think that maybe your computer was compromised and keylogged.

Basically they claim to have a keylogger installed on your system, to have hijacked the camera and have been able to hijack your screen - all while you - the victim - has been browsing porn sites.

Then I found a link on the internet and it seems that I was just one of many attempted victims:

I did not receive such emails. I think you used it to sign up for some bad sites and accidentally created the opportunity for hackers to break into your account.
Now you should switch wallets and email conversions quickly to avoid the worst case happening. When they have enough information, they can steal all your data.

No, the thing is I DID NOT log into any bad sites, but nevertheless the email was so well psychology-engineered that I started to be paranoid that my system has been key-logged nevertheless and, yes, truth be told I started to mentally review the things I may have done in front of the camera of the running computer.

The thing with those scams is that they started as stupid "I am a widow of the late one-eyed Willy pirate and I have that treasure to share with you", but now they have evolved and the most recent scam emails are really really believable. That is the problem.

I also don't have received any link from email if any kinds of email from someone that you didn't know it's better to be careful do not just click any link because it might be possible that is dangerous.

Yes nowadays Bitcoin and crypto related scams are growing with a lightning speed and because of this even I have lost $50 a few weeks back and this was with an ETH token related airdrop program. Actually, I got an email regarding the self-drop of a crypto token where i was told that if you buy the tokens then you will get a 100% free bonus tokens in addition to your quantity of tokens and here the fault was mine and I didn't really do full research before sending the payment and afterwards I ended up losing my $50 and I was really angry with myself for making such a big careless mistake.

So far there has been no report of someone getting hacked by these mails, however, it is wise to take extra measures to secure your account because the market is growing and so is crypto's price.

Such an immature form of scam but surprisingly, many fall victim of this. It’s obviously just a bluff but people who get too engrossed in their fear fail to think rationally and all their wits go out the door all of a sudden. Why should it matter if your screen has been hijacked while you were browsing porn sites. It’s definitely a privacy violation but i don’t find it as a threat. I’m guessing that no proof to show that you have been hijacked can be shown by these scammers so why waste a single cent on them?

I received dozens of emails that were clearly fraudulent, but I ignored them.
I'm sure they'll get tired of themselves.
