People tend to ask for some proofs about a certain investment or business and that includes cryptocurrency, the Local news here in my country always forecast bitcoin investment scam, frauds, and its risk without any justified explanation as to what the hell is Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain, when people knew I was into bitcoin they will always say it is a scam its all over the news, educate them with the basic and simple explanation about it the best way is to show them some proofs or success.

To see bitcoin on 1 million dollar or Ethereum to 10000 dollar, we must all understand that it takes mass adoption to get on that point.
And mass adoption begins from home, so how do you educate your friends and family about crypto?

Do share so we can all learn from each other's method   Smiley

Hi good day I educate my friend by doing a simple task for them 1st I put him to a challenge if my friend reach the Jr. member I will guide him how to bounty create some blog and article after that I tech him to Airdrop in Telegram then, after all his effort  he can earn a stake and token, Then I tech him to find some Exchange his token so that he don't need me any more if he know the trading system.

That's an excellent steps actually, no need to spend anything but time. Quite appealing for younger generations.

I don’t educate people about crypto. I normally share the benefits and risks about crypto with people whom I think will be interested in crypto. In the end, it is up to them whether you want to get involved or not.

I have a simple example. When you go to the casino, you have to exchange your money for the chips to bet. They don't use cash in casino. You can use money to exchange the chips and also can use the chips to redeem for money. If you bring the chip home, it will have no value.
Similarly, there will be a community that accepting to use crypto for trading, you can use money to exchange to crypto and also can use crypto to exchange to money. The price of crypto will depend on the number of people that use it for trading

Just be natural and talk to your family and friends when the time is right. I guess the most important thing to mention is the risks involved. You do not want them to come after you everytime Bitcoin price drop by a couple of hundred dollars.

This one is now simple, I just show them my wallet or my transaction history and that's settles it, no one would say he doesn't want money, all they may be concerned about is the guarantee in the investment but we all know there is no guarantee anywhere, life itself is not even guaranteed for anyone

I would direct them to Bitcointalk and get some exposure. Read up on specific posts about bitcoins. Show them the trends of bitcoin and the risks involved in it. Teach them how a wallet works and how to buy crypto. By this point they might not be interested anymore so that's good. But if they are interested and buy bitcoins, tell them to be patient everytime the price drops and not be panic sellers.

It is not like I talk about the subject to everyone I met with, but once the conversation starts I definitely try to give my point of view of the little things I've been learning and the mistakes I made, and I think everyone should do it like that, just my opinion though.

Any specific bitcointalk thread that you show people to expose them to crypto?

I don't really educate people about bitcoin because I know to myself that I still also need to know and research more about cypto. What I can do is to just give them background on how I earned from crypto.

i think it is hard to since much people defence from technology changes.they think crypto very dangerous and can make them poor if investing on it.giving them any literature or articles about blockchain technology will help them to understand.

If the family is not interested in cryptocurrency, it makes no sense to teach them. Especially while the cryptocurrency has not penetrated into our lives and a large number of people do not use it. If someone wants to, he himself turn to you with questions.

It is difficult to begin teaching some one about cryptos.

The best thing to do is show the person you are educating exactly what you are talking about. Describe to them the concepts of what a blockchain is, how it is beneficial to the world, what they are capable of. There are organizations, like HyperionX, that are looking to integrate the average tech-user into the blockchain network. It is imperative that people understand the technology behind cryptocurrencies before investing or utilizing them. Blockchain will be the next big wave of tech that goes mainstream, which is why we should all begin to educate our friends and family on blockchain tech and cryptos.

Start small and slowly guide them through the intricate world of blockchain.

Sincerely speaking this have been a tough task to accomplished, because at first he or she won't understand what you are saying you will have to break it down piece by piece for him or her to understand. And this requires lots of patience.
