I bought Gentarium months ago, hold all of them till now.
I checked the price of GTM on Crypto Bridge, which fell dramatically to nearly 10k satoshi today.
So, anyone who followed the progress of GTM closely, please help me on what happened with GTM recently.

In my opinion, it's time to accumulate more cheap GTM if someone have free money (BTC, in fact).

From what I saw in the discord, someone posted a screenshot of this drop on CB and it was from one guy selling around 8k GTM. The team are now back from the Blockchain Life 2018 conference and they will be posting an update on how well they did at the event. We should hopefully start to see the price pick up once again.

I think once the GTM soft fork is complete, that is when we will start to see this project start to shine as there will be less coins for miners to dump on exchanges which is hurting GTM at the moment as most miners who mine don't really care for the projects and are just after the profits. The soft fork is planned to take place in 1 ot 2 weeks from now so be sure to join the GTM discord so you can stay up to date on whats going on with the project.

I bought GTM around 2 weeks ago, at 18k satoshi.
Hence, I hope that GTM will rally soon.
By the way, can you give me more info on the coming softfork, such as its objectives, sort of adjustments during the fork and plans of the team after the fork, please.

The softfork is basically to cut the mining rewards down as most of the miners are dumping their mined GTM on exchanges which is bringing the price down. Also there was a vote on masternode collateral and the community has voted for dynamic collateral, now I'm not sure exactly how this will work. I know the dev team plan to have this softfork within the next week or two, you might be best to join their discord to stay up to date on whats going on with the project.

when IS the soft fork?  In my observation of coins that fork- it is often a time that the coins will drop in value and later we can say that the price "bottomed" then so yes it is an opportunity to accumulate. Particularly if the fork is being done to fix something that adds value to the coin / underlying technology . In this case to reduce PoW reurns to stop auto dumping from miners dominating hash share... that depresses the price. Gentarium is "on sale" at this time- Accumulate

I enjoyed the idea of GTM. But to become the number one masternode platform, the project needs to provide unique and specific solutions for GTM to compete in this market. I hope the development and improvement of the project will give investors a good opportunity to participate in long-term investment in GTM.

The reason being is that there is a soft fork coming soon, I'm not sure why they paused it so early for but they have and we have to wait until the soft fork is complete. I believe it will be sometime this week as it was announced 2 weeks ago about the soft fork and the dev said it would happen in a 2-3 weeks and since the team was busy with the conference, they couldn't do the soft fork so I'm guessing it will be this coming week.

Gentarium team has recently participated in the Blockchain Life 2018 conference, one of the biggest international conferences on blockchain cryptocurrency & mining in Eastern Europe , where you can see the existence of the team.

Where do you currently have your GTM coins stored? If they are stored on the GTM platform and have a masternode running then it might be best to leave them on there as there isn't anything for you to do. If they are on an exchange they should also be safe as from what I heard the exchanges will support this softfork as it isn't anything major like a hardfork or coin swap. So you should be fine either way.

To be honest, I don't know what all the FUD was for as GTM has been great, yes they have had some issues but which project doesn't have issues arise every now and then. Best way to eliminate FUD is to show everyone that GTM is here to stay and not just a flyby project. Gentarium platform now hosts the most masternodes in this space so that there is saying something.

As of 16th November 2018 the current count on each platform is:
GTM = 6670
GIN = 5131

GTM = Shared masternodes live for months
GIN = no shared masternodes

GTM = Wrapping up hosting and ASIC monitoring, moving onto the next part of their plan.
GIN = Stuck on basic hosting with their biggest recent development being the obvious, $4.5 hosting instead of $15. Honestly I legit wonder what these guys even do each day? Apparently development is complete on shared nodes platform. They have a fat team and are secretive about financial aspects of the project. They could be paying themselves/wives/girlfriends/friends a salary for pretty idoling on discord offering "support".

Honestly I think you sound ridiculous claiming that GIN is the "leader by a long shot" when clearly it is not. I'm neither a holder of GIN or GTM but I know good work when I see it and whilst I have my doubts on GIN I can still see both are doing good work.

Link to new wallet https://github.com/genterium-project/gentarium/releases. Just replace exe file

From your wallet go to file->backup wallet and save the resulting wallet.dat file somewhere safe just in case
Go to your c:\program files\gentariumcore folder (this should be the default install directory) and make a backup of the exisiting gentarium-qt.exe file for safe keeping
If you are super paranoid go to your %appdata% folder and save the conf files there too but it should be ok to skip this step
download the wallet file provided by the devs in the announcement from the GTM github
unzip it and head to the bin folder in the file you downloaded
extract the gentarium-qt.exe file from the zip file you downloaded
copy this file into your c:\program files\gentariumcore folder, which replaces the old version
Open the wallet and let it sync

go to help->about gentarium core....you should see the new version showing. It must be 1.2.0.1

They are the facts my friend, GTM last I checked had over 6,000 hosted masternodes while gin only had over 5,000 so don't start FUD for no reason. So its not fake news as you like to call it, the fact is that GTM host way more masternodes now and is growing by the week. The only reason why gin has the most value in nodes is because that is where most gin masternodes are hosted which makes the value of the whole gin platform look like a lot but most is coming from gin masternodes value.

I have a question related to the soft fork and support on Crypto Bridge.
Will my coins (GTM) on CB will be automatically forked to new one?
Do I have to move them to my windows wallet or simply leave them in CB?
