Every mistake has its lessons. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should do: admit it, learn from it and do not repeat it.
Ever since i had been in this space, i have only been used to bitcoin, ethereum, NEO, waves, tokens that use their platform and some other very common coins, but just this week was my first time of transacting fully on XLM platform.
I got a token that uses the platform of Stellar (XLM) and i was able to trade the token into XLM on their decentralized exchange.
My mistake came in when i was about to transfer the XLM, to be traded into BTC on another exchange.
I thought the process of transfer would be the one i had been used to, not knowing that i was supposed to include a "MEMO".
I eventually transferred it, waited for hour, but found nothing.
I was bothered.
It was in that process i got to know that memo was to be included. That was my mistake.
I admitted i had made the mistake.
The lesson i learnt is to always study every thing first (both new and old, because old things can still change), before jumping into it.
This mistake i have made up my mind to never repeat again.

I AM SHARING THIS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND FROM YOURS.

Thanks for your audience.
I hope people will understand this. We should learn from out mistake to avoid doing it again. This kind of post will remind us of what to avoid and what is the proper thing to do.

Well, what wallet you used to transfer your XLM ? I think that could be 'tricky trap' of your wallet.
The wallet developer should make a validation if you want to send XLM, you must fill the MEMO.
It is not 100% your fault, although any mistakes could possibly done by us.

Yes, that's right. Always try and look at others. To avoid mistakes and misses. But all when you study on your own. Somehow it is then remembered better. And in the future you will think a hundred times before you do something.

I agree with it. I enough own mistakes, which cost me quite a lot of money. The most important thing is not to do the same mistakes in future

Yeah that's right just like what they say experience is the best teacher in life by correcting and not doing the same mistakes you have done in your whole life, But I would prefer to learn from the mistakes of others instead of your mistakes because it is easier because there is nothing you will lose just like in the saying "the second mouse gets the cheese" if you see the others fail when they do that why should you follow them.

It sometimes be hard for many even though you are in crypto for years, it is important to take lessons from everything. That is only way to gain something against the loss.

I don't think that if you lose your money once you should stop trying with investments. This is a great chance to learn how to act in the future!

It is possible and necessary to learn from your mistakes, so you just need to take a very serious approach to how you understand investment right now or just learn from your mistakes, it's also not easy.

Yes, that's the way it is in life. But I prefer to learn from other people's mistakes. After all, why make your own and then regret it. If you can avoid them, you can do it yourself. Read more, study. And try not to make mistakes. So that later they do not learn from them.

A bit of confidence is needed, it's the power for investors to fight the flow and make their own decisions. But excessive self-confidence will often be counterproductive. Because sometimes you are too self-confident to ignore the warning signs, the buoys aided by your invincible feeling.

It is really nice to know you made a mistake,  admit it, learn from it and move on. I actually hard a bad experience when I got in to crypto, I bought a lot of coins at their ATH(all time high) hoping they will continue upward price movement but after a week or so,  bearish period start,  up till now I haven't recover my loss.  That's a big mistake from me by not doing enough research before buying a lot of those coins. I admit the mistake,  learn from it and move on.

And it is better to learn from strangers. Even folk wisdom says. Clever learns from strangers, and a fool on his own. Try to live and work in this way. To once again not to test fate. And do not make mistakes over which you will regret.

If you strongly worry about your mistakes, you can miss the opportunities that the market presents you. Have you made a mistake? Excellent! Do whatever it takes to ensure that it does not happen again and follow your goal.

We have always committed and will make mistakes, the main rule is to reduce their number. This is very difficult, but it is necessary to strive for this.

Well done for sharing your mistake. As you have learnt a lesson and shared it here, others will learn from it as well. It is sometimes very hard for others to admint their mistakes because of pride.
Yes  you didn't learned a lesson if you didn't make mistakes in your life. You're corect some people they can't accept there mistakes cause of there pride they always thinks there always right. For me my mistake is my guide to change my life to become more better person.

Right, learning from mistakes is very necessary as an ingredient for self-introspection so that we don't make the same mistakes. And that can be applied to crypto that when the market falls, selling low is a mistake and it's better to be patient and keep holding because as time goes on the market will return to stable.

Everyone makes mistakes in any type of activity, but only doing mistakes we can learn on how to do next time better. I personally learned a good lesson when I didn't sell in January this year. I could have such a big profit. But I was not ready for something like this

In my country say that a stupid man does not learn from their mistakes, smart concludes after will understand what mistakes he made, but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. On this forum says a lot about the mistakes that people make, so just learn from the mistakes of others.
