Anyone else having issues at Eliteminer?

Can't login, locks account; reset account; locks again immediately; change password (as instructed); locks again.  Raised a ticket yesterday with no response.  Now it looks as though their automated emails aren't being sent - i.e. no response to a password reset request.  Not really bothered about the 1 Sovoshi or whatever it is I have there, but would be nice to sort out.

And re. the blocks, Hardcoreminers shows both the current block and the last solved block as 29.

IceCube is migrating eliteminer to a new server, it's all safe and will be back up soon.
while we endeavour to fix the stuck block (29) please point your ASIC's towards another coin. I recommend Bitcoin.

We'll be back with a fix for Sovereign, ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

so damn slow transaction ,imagine  if i use this coins to buy something from the net or trade with btc , imagining waiting for maybe a minimum of an hour half just to get a full confirmation, might be longer since 1 block with target difficulty keep changing , for eg. block 38- 39  required like at least 10 hrs for that comfirmation.
so 10 hrs x 8 blocks = 80 hrs , almost 3+ days for a comfirmed transaction .

This coin is joke in terms of quick , efficient  , carbon friendly and  value.

we're going to be amending some data on the coin, first up is the confirm times and difficulty retargeting.
with regards to efficient, carbon friendly and value - think more in terms that you will only ever need to mine 1SOV before powering down your ASICs (or using them for other cryptocurrencies) PoS is active early and coins are minted at 100% per annum. THIS, in case it hadn't been realised, is very carbon friendly  Smiley I don't ask anyone to mine Sovereign as their only coin. Drop/Hop and Dip in now and again, we have plenty of time to gather Sovereigns

 Cool

Can you provide any sort of timeline for this update?  I understand it would take some time...it would just be nice to have an idea of how much time.  We're sort of hanging here...

60 * 24 / 8 * 3 = 540 SOV (this is the fixed output per day of mining)

540 * 365 = 197,100 SOV ( this is the fixed output per annum of mining)

144,000,000 / 197,000 = 730.96447

so, the PoW will last for 730 years?  am I right?

你的对的,其实有很多币是被作者藏起来了
什么称为藏起来?
预挖是其中之一
也难免作者会弄隐藏的超级块
总之就是用来坑钱为目标.

this question has already been addressed earlier in the thread.
there is no 'hidden superblock' nor is there a premine and the development team did not instamine the coin (difficulty retargets prevent this)
thanks.

POS runs simultaneously. Each POS block is subtracted from the block height of the POW phase. There will be many POS blocks and therefore the full compliment of POW blocks will not be mined.  POW blocks might be finished when only lets say 5 or 10 or 20m coins have been issued. To see how this works in practice, look at the planned POW coins for Zimstake and the actual coins in circulation. Brilliant in my mind to make a coin rarer and not something the dev did wrong. It works perfectly as designed,

exactly! there is no exact date or time for end of PoW. I like the intrigue in this!

Why is this LOGO looks so evil Cry

perhaps it's just your perception of the logo.
it's old currency, a Sovereign is ancient tender in the UK and as such, the logo should be dirty and dark  Grin
