no babble from my side but leave it as it is, from the start I was mining img most on my private pool, never on multipools, so not a hash monkey - are you ?
I remember in 2018 to be the only miner ocasionally (when coin value was low) to keep chain moving, there was no interest from miners
later, when price went up, miners normaly showed up
like you also said, multipools move their hash power to another x11 coin with lower diff and there are plenty of x11 coins to choose from
here goes my thought to change algo preferbly to cpu one, like scrypt:N - it can't be found on multi currency pools, and most knovn coin is verium reserve as I know
all this requires work and interest to do it, maybe dev changes his mind, but as you said let's move on and leave it as it is, still better than token or pivx clone pos coin

Hashmonkeys nah m8 ps i termed that phrase in ccex days.hashmonkeys hire there hash then dump there coins to buy more hash..
im old skool were u have to find the RPC and such from the wallet to add it to the conf file to be able to mine and rather solo mine but todays mining and asic are wat they are and cant unless u mine on empty pools. Good that there other miners coming and chating but as a miner the algo works fine the dev works fine...
I had my main stash of img hacked last year and still support it.. tried to get dev to wind back blockchian to no aval but not goin to cry about it lol :_( maybe alil lol
THE main issue with IMG and the main reason price drop is due to masternode proposal system and if u read back abit u will see me voice my concerns about it mutli times.. can be abused to easily if not governed correct and ive seen it happen to multi coins threw the years.
You can check my BCT posts and see like in CROWN CRW coin the way they killed the coin threw shonky MN proposal system and not governing it.
Basically lets say ur a bag holder like i used to be or other bag holder that has mutli mns they can make up whatever proposal they want and vote it threw with all their mns votes...mn proposal system are meant to be for stuff that can make the coin grow in price not dump the hell out to near nill sat. or new tech stuff of new IMG stuff that 100% owned buy IMg or watever the coin is to help grow the coins uses.
Trust me algo isnt the issue here and IMG mn work alot smoother than IMGC mns do as the mining alot more erratic on that coin more than this coin..saying that it doesnt worry me just alil more checking on the mns than a normal 1 but there less work that dble clicking a bat file ;_)>
IMG Dev works realy well and has updates all the time but could listen to others eps in areas like the mn proposal system, every proposal should be put forth to ALL holders. Mn holders get mn reward and theer no real reason for just them to vote on the future of a coin. others hold more in cold stoage and get not voice at all is just silly.
New ideas of uses with different types of imgs like CAD files or CNC cutting files.. Ps i can convert any B/w line drawing to CNC cut file in trade of img to try boost the uses of IMG.
