When I see any cheater, i just have to report the person to the bounty manager and expect that the person is kicked out of the campaign for unauthorized stealing of my account.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I think they should be simply banned. They own a bunch of accounts and thus gain the most part of the coins from the bounty pot. He/she also cam dump the market.

Do you guys believe the bounty model is beginning to crack and fail?  This seems to be a major problem as we come to an end of 2018.  At the same time we have the project side throwing out hundreds of scams a week.  Both sides are out of control from how I see it.

This happens very often. They are even using bots for registration and stealing your telegram or BT account
to use them for their benefit. If I notice that, I always report to the bounty manager.

I already this kind of scenario on my previous campaign. I did report it to the campaign manager via group telegram. Someone used my username and he/she is receiving stakes though he/she is doing any efforts like posting on the threads.

This topic now worries many, I would suggest the introduction of a special body that should monitor the conduct of all ico to check them for fraud according to different criteria and to transfer their documents to authorized bodies to hold them accountable according to law

We can't do anything to stop them. But we could deal with them professionally by reporting them to those who are authorized to do the action. And always double or even triple check spreadsheets for some cheaters. I myself, I like checking the spreadsheet every once in a while.

you can simply stop them by reporting it to the manager. if you see problems like that or any similar regarding about cheating in a bounty campaign, just report them to manager and they will disqualified in that bounty campaign.

It's the work of the bounty manager to do a proper checking by detecting those cheating if he cant determine that it will be left to you to continue reporting them so that the bounty manager can blacklist them.

Just forward the complaint to the bounty manager handling the project to do the normal thing and also by banning the cheater finally from all of its campaign.

That is the simple way to stop the cheater in the bounty campaign. Don't forget to check the spreadsheet because sometimes when the bounty manager see that there is cheating, it will automatically disqualified both.

Many times, I am facing this problem. Scammers are using all my details with his/her  fake ethereum address. Even they got stakes with his/her fake ethereum address. I have written to the bounty manager immediately. I am always checking spreadsheet before joining any bounty campaign whether if someone using my details or not. I have tracked many scammers. Even one of my bounty campaign found many scammers were using my details with fake ethereum address. I have written about scammers in telegram in that moment. Bounty manager removed all details of the scammers. The best way to avoid scammers always report to the bounty manager.

It's really hard to explain why this happens to all bounty participants is deceiving because we are not well-known people here in the forum so most are removable.

It is impossible to define swindlers in any way if he does not give himself. But even if you will find its data, then will not be able to stop. Data in social networks or addresses can be changed easily.

We can't do without bad elements in our midst but we can reduce their activities. The best way to deal with a cheater is to report him directly to the bounty manager of the project, it is very difficult for managers to be able to detect everything but by reporting, you make it more difficult for  the cheater.

In order not to be caught by the scammers, it is better to take less but high-quality bounty. Analyze on various resources what assessment give the project. And think, and can this project even go to the stock exchange. Then watch bounty managers. Quickly they check weekly reports or stretch pleasure indefinitely. After a while you will pick up a database of managers with whom you can work. Maybe it's all for a long time, but 100%.

You're not alone mate! i have also experienced that so many times especially in social media campaign where some else is using my credentials and earn stakes weekly. It really made me mad and all i did is report the scammer to the manager. If the manager seems to miss your complain, then i fill up a new registration form and put there my complain so the manager can see it in the spreadsheet.

I have encountered this problem many times and I have had to complain to the managers to reject scammers, but this is just a drop in the ocean, because there are much more cases like that in almost every bounty campaign , that wasn't detected by me.
Managers should do their job better and organize a campaign in such a way , which will allow to prevent the appearance of scammers. Since it is impossible to over-catch all scammers, I think managers should be responsible for a poorly organized campaign in which scammers take income from honest participants.

here in the profile specify your account on Twitter, and on Twitter link to bitcointalk. And write to the administrators of the resource complaint, with an indication of all the data. maybe a cheater will put minus Trust
And duplicate all this in a thematic topic.

I think best way is creating a universal bounty scammers list. And cross-check every reference.

Also bounty managers must act with care. If they do a nice job, scammers won't get a thing.
