So yes it does pay out.

We found a couple of nmc blocks already and they have been credited like before the merged mining days
Not found a bitcoin block yet, but we're only up to the 1st 328.000, so that might take a while

yep, had a couple of payouts. got some NMC at nmcbit.com not BTC there though. I am still comparing pools to find most rewarding.
simplecoin.us credited me with GG and NMC for the last block found even though i was only mining BTC/NMC. dont know how that works and dont know how to get rid of them GG yet. I only really want NMC/BTC.

simplecoin.us credited me with GG and NMC for the last block found even though i was only mining BTC/NMC. dont know how that works and dont know how to get rid of them GG yet. I only really want NMC/BTC.
Couple of payouts from masterpool for me, and some unconfirmed in simplecoin. I'm noticing the same as you, I'm only mining BTC/NMC, yet, I got some GG somehow. |

Check out Simplecoin, we've found quite a few NMC blocks with merged mining. Likewise the btc should follow with appropriate hashrate.

you wont get paid out at these pools until the pool finds a block, that's why nmc pays out faster(easier to find nmc blocks)

It takes quite awhile for BTC confirms,guess they set it up that way.Took 5 days for my .27 BTC to confirm,while 8 NMC was almost instant  I've since moved to Slushs pool:) |

I have just the opposite experience, bitcoins come in quickly but namecoins never did, I given up and mine bitcoins solely

Slush paid out the 70K back namecoins.
It litterally doubled my daily "take". Granted difficulty is 4x higher so namecoin is "only" a 30% bonus but I will take that while it lasted.
