I will go first to you always, if I suspect you of any scam - we can use a middleman.
I will never not go first/use a middleman! So if you find somebody doing this, then it is not me.

Cards
$100 Card - 10 BTC
$250 Card - 25 BTC
Custom amount ($10-$2500) - Negotiable, please message me about this.

I am also able to purchase items for you, on NewEgg. Just message me about this.

You may have noticed that I have reputation for being a scammer here, I have changed and you can trust me any way you like - I just wanted to let you know, instead of being accused. I am going first/using a middleman for a reason... so neither of us get scammed. I have learned that scamming is cruel, and doesn't help your karma, nor future at all.

To purchase a card, please message me.

How do I know the cards wont be canceled or returned? Can I pay you once I get my merchandise? I would feel more safe like that.

If they are cancelled, or returned - I'll give you a refund... or a new gift card. We can possibly do that, would I get your phone number and stuff?

If they are legitimate cards, why would they be cancelled or returned?

The fact that you are making allowances for such a possibility screams scam to me.

~$40 worth of BTC for $100 gift card.... right...  Roll Eyes

would you mind giving the code first, then i order the newegg items and once it ships, i pay you the BTC?  you took advantage of people's trust in the past, now time for you to trust the buyers

yeah sounds like a scam, middleman? and who would that be? One of your other accounts? A friend?

Only way in the world I do this is if products are shipped and received, no if's or buts.

Personally, if I could legitimately get Newegg gift cards for less than 40% of face value, instead of selling them, I'd be buying and reselling products like crazy.

Still full of shit. First we work out the details, then I get told that I have to wait, then I get some bs about his supplier, now I am told he cant get any newegg cards at all.
I save the conversation logs if anyone would like.

Here is the second half, I have to goto my office machine for the first days conversation.

[10/11/2011 3:39:27 PM] jake.antifaev: Hey
[10/11/2011 3:39:39 PM] Andrew Nollan: good timing
[10/11/2011 3:39:41 PM] Andrew Nollan: just walked in
[10/11/2011 3:40:24 PM] jake.antifaev: Tongue
[10/11/2011 3:40:33 PM] Andrew Nollan: So what is the word?
[10/11/2011 3:40:56 PM] jake.antifaev: I can only supply $100 cards atm.
[10/11/2011 3:41:06 PM] jake.antifaev: Due to your order, you'd probably have to wait a bit for it to complete.
[10/11/2011 3:41:44 PM] Andrew Nollan: How long is a bit because at this rate Im loosing money each day I wait
[10/11/2011 3:42:03 PM] jake.antifaev: October 13, or 14th.
[10/11/2011 3:42:19 PM] Andrew Nollan: and thats for me to get any of the $100 cards?
[10/11/2011 3:43:06 PM] jake.antifaev: $2000 worth of $100 cards.
[10/11/2011 3:43:10 PM] jake.antifaev: So it would be 20 $100 cards.
[10/11/2011 3:44:16 PM] Andrew Nollan: Well Im already out $900 because newegg changed prices on the items i wanted
[10/11/2011 3:44:30 PM] jake.antifaev: Sorry about that.
[10/11/2011 3:45:09 PM] Andrew Nollan: Well, If one more item in my cart changes price, I have no need for the cards anymore
[10/11/2011 3:45:39 PM] Andrew Nollan: this all just smells funny to me
[10/11/2011 3:46:24 PM] jake.antifaev: NewEgg denies 90% of GiftCard orders.
[10/11/2011 3:46:32 PM] jake.antifaev: They usually RARELY accept $2000 giftcard orders.
[10/11/2011 3:47:00 PM] Andrew Nollan: Understood, but what to say they dont deny it this time?
[10/11/2011 3:47:16 PM] Andrew Nollan: And Ive never had a newegg giftcard get denied
[10/11/2011 3:47:20 PM] jake.antifaev: Well usually $100 orders go through.
[10/11/2011 3:47:23 PM] Andrew Nollan: and ive bought 2500 cards too
[10/11/2011 3:47:51 PM] jake.antifaev: My supplier has tried $2000, even $500 and $250 cards.
[10/11/2011 3:48:09 PM] Andrew Nollan: The only way they deny them is if you cant pay, or there is fraud
[10/11/2011 3:48:39 PM] jake.antifaev: There is no fraud though, nor can he not pay.
[10/11/2011 3:49:55 PM] Andrew Nollan: well just get it taken care of. Ive recived to code from bitegg in the time this has taken, my paitence is running thin.
[10/11/2011 3:51:25 PM] jake.antifaev: Well I apologize, I can't control this. I run off a supplier, and he has a ton of resellers.
[10/11/2011 3:51:44 PM] jake.antifaev: We are a bunch of rat's, and we grab whatever we can when it comes up.
[10/11/2011 3:53:05 PM] Andrew Nollan: well grab it and get it to me asap
[10/11/2011 4:06:42 PM] jake.antifaev: I'll try
[10/11/2011 4:07:02 PM] jake.antifaev: I'll try my best, if I can't - please don't be mad.
[1:29:08 PM] Andrew Nollan: Just really try
[9:16:00 PM] Andrew Nollan: any news?
[9:17:04 PM] Jake Antifaev: I don't think we are the right people for your order. Sorry for holding you back like this, but it's to frustrating to fill such a large order.
[9:17:18 PM] Jake Antifaev: Next time, we will let you know if we have some in stock or not.
[9:17:19 PM] Andrew Nollan: Can you fill ANY order?
[9:18:22 PM] Jake Antifaev: I stayed on for 14 hours (almost all night) refreshing my supplier's order page. GC's would pop up, once I clicked "grab" it would be like "Sorry, this product isn't available anymore". People are snatching ALL OF THEM before me.
[9:18:25 PM] Jake Antifaev: It's pissing me off.
[9:18:58 PM] Andrew Nollan: So you cant get any cards then?
[9:19:09 PM] Jake Antifaev: Unless a miracle happens, I doubt it.
[9:19:26 PM] Jake Antifaev: I would if these asshole's stopped grabbing all of em ^.^
[9:19:49 PM] Andrew Nollan: well then you shouldnt post crap in the forum if you cant deliver
[9:20:44 PM] Jake Antifaev: I know, it's why I said next time... I'll be in stock.
[9:20:52 PM] Jake Antifaev: My apologies again.

what a douche bag, all these lying tossers trying to scam you. Funny I post one thread about wanting newegg cards 40 scammers pop up.

Only way to do these deals is escrow, skrill/moneybookers offer but you only have a $500 credit card deposit limit so if something happens after you've sent $1500 your screwed any better escrow out there?

Whoa. Okay, I'm sorry about this guys. I didn't know Jake had posted this so early.

He had discussed this with me a while back but I was a bit busy this week and didn't get a chance to sign off on it.

Basically, there is a supplier in Canada where he is that has about 20,000 Newegg cards available for a bit lower than their face value and it is actually a pretty awesome deal. I understand how Jake's vagueness makes it look a bit scammy but in reality he'd be willing to put his own money up first, just wasn't sure if anyone would buy any yet.

Since Jake already has about $1,200 just order what you want up to that value, he'll front his money first, then you can pay him in BTC when he delivers. I've already talked to Jake about loganfag and why doing things this way is not the best of business models, but since the thread's already here, I take responsibility and I'll facilitate whatever needs to be done.

ill take all 1200 based on our previous arrangement. Waiting.

From what I can tell it's gonna take some time. The agent he's been dealing with is kind of an electronics dealer in the area and there are lots of customers ahead of him.

To avoid a potential "cluster fuck of retardation", I'd recommend that terms be spelled out here completely.

  • Buyer agrees that items may take some time to collect (as they are from a third-party and not a walmart-- this is not loganschyre we're dealing with here).
  • Buyer understands items may for some reason not be able to be collected as they are from a third party (last I checked there were quite  lot of customers ahead of Jake).
  • Seller agrees to front their own personal finances to purchase (Jake will buy them with his own cash first).
  • Both parties agree to a time limit on this so that there are no misunderstandings and minimal inconvenience (how is a deadline of 1 week from today?), after which the sale will be completely void regardless of whether Jake has already purchased the cards or not.

As I have said before, as long as someone tells me a time I can have my cards, I am game.
