This is great news! People have to be educated about cryptocurrencies, learn about bitcoin and blockchain technology. However, the partnership with Crypto Crow seems like not the best choice to me. His videos are too speculative and investment-oriented. Plus, he makes some ICO reviews from time to time. I think that it would be a lot better if educational videos like huge interviews or animated lectures appeared on TV and informed people about governmental and institutional policies, technological development and potential etc. Otherwise people might get the wrong impression about what cryptocurrencies are about.

I agree with you on this. It seems like FUD has been consumed by the huge increase in bitcoins value even just for a week and it's showing a very good performance in the market. Hoping that this uptrend will be grinding slowly till we its value will touch again around $10k within the next 2 months.

We are far from being technologically advance, what more to cryptography. We only have farmers at most and works that only uses human power. If only government projects will support education to countries abroad for young generation, teach their fellow folks when they got home. It may happen-people will be educated more.

We all know that people are already moving into internet but still you can't just ignore the fact that TV is one of the greatest medium in advertising. I myself spent most of my spare time in the internet but I still find time to watch news and some of my favorite TV series using the TV. I just wanted to tell you that there are so many investors that are not tech savvy but are investing into something that they think they can profit from. So with this news, advertising the blockchain technology in TV is one way of reaching out to those people who are potential investors that doesn't spend so much time in the internet.

The community always does this when the price movement starts to change direction. People post things relating around to their feelings, you must remember this.

But back on topic here, I don't think this is going to do much to Bitcoin. This segment is going to be a small section on the fox business channel (due to the fact that it won't reasonate with most people and it's not going to bring them in revenue with advertisers) and it's going to be mostly related to blockchain tech being used in companies. That's the innovation that investors want to hear about, they don't want to hear about our random volatile currency of Bitcoin.

I recommend that you research before posting any news. I am not saying that this news is not real, but I did a quick search and did not find an authoritative source to issue this news.
No TV channel posts any news before making sure that this is a legal announcement, so I do not expect to post for cryptos before checking the legal status of Bitcoin/altcoins.
Also, I expect the big whales to create advertisements for their coins/ICOs and promote it on those television channels. "I do not expect to see a service announcement accepting Bitcoin on that channels."

this is not that surprising though since it has been the same for many years. each time there is a drop and anticipation of a drop the FUDs start coming out from all sides and so far in the past 6 months or so we have had drops  so it was like the dream for those who spread FUD.

as for this news, it is interesting to see how they pay a lot more attention to the technology instead of bitcoin and eventually it is bitcoin that is gaining attention because of it.

Bitcoin has been hinted about on numerous occasions on the hit TV show Mr. Robot which I think a lot of techno nerds know of. Now, this 'blockchain television' sounds like Fox network are going to do a business talk show about Bitcoin on a weekly basis analyzing market trends and covering crypto news etc. However, I am not sure how appealing this type of a show would be for the general audience when there are already Internet podcasts and live streams on multiple online streaming platforms dedicated to discussing crypto investment tips and, most importantly,  they are readily available every day.
