If you join on bounty which is use ethereum blockchain you must using erc 20 wallet such as on myetherwallet imtoken etc
If you join on other blockchain (not ethereum) just make wallet that suitable with the project

Based on my experience the common wallet that we've use is myetherwallet it is an ethereum wallet you can see the details when you visit their site. You can make your own account on it and always keep the private key because that will serves as your password. In trading it the admin or the manager in your telegram can give some sites that your crypto is listed in that site you can trade you coin and you must use the ethereum wallet so transfer it on that site.
