There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

AH... shit. Another scam coin. What dumb ass investor put money into this?
Well, if you said it it must be true! Can you give your reasoning behind your statement? Uh.. it's a complete rip off of litecoin with no innovation or features. Basically they stole the work of another coin, put a different name on it and expect to dump it and make a profit. Again, no one is going to convert currency that can already be used to purchase apps into a currency that can ONLY be used to purchase apps. Unless, they are D.U.M.B. Taking advantage of people who aren't as tech savvy and are thinking about making a first investment in crypto with garbage like this is shameful. If you are new to crypto and thinking of investing in a new alt-currency, please do some research on coins that are being developed right now that have IMPROVEMENTS over other coins. Do it for yourself.

No details about how it would be implemented as something specifically geared towards the purchase of apps. A wallet with an interface for browsing and purchasing apps would be something. Right now it is just a name with the same old QT wallet, unless I am mistaken. The reference to statistics that "will" come to fruition in "2013" makes me a bit leery of this one. Nice graphic design ad, but what else?

Another clone coin to add to the long list. Why do you people waste time making this silly coins?
Any coin can be used to buy apps, do you really need to make 1 coin for each commodity now? Like being a worthless clone coin wasnt enough, it also haves the typical premine so you can dump on some fools that still buy into this crappy coins.
Go for Toilet paper coin next, it would at least have some synergy with dumping.
If you wanna make a coin to target the fools, at least think of something original.

Thanks for the feedback. We are always open for constructive critic to improve our services. We believe that there's always room for an alternative payment option in big market areas like application markets. Just like we have Paypal, Alipay, Skrill and CC Avenue, as well as the various Credit Card options, we believe that it's always good to have more supported payment methods rather than just one with a monopoly state. Appcoin is based on PoW scrypt-algorithm which is well known and used among other cryptocurrencies as well. Appcoin emphasizes to provide a valid digital payment method specialized on digital products like mobile applications. Specializing like this is still quite rare within the cryptocurrency scene and we believe that Appcoin could fill a part of the cryptocurrencies payment role for application markets.

Check out this site for legit free BTC. It's like an hourly free lottery ticket that always pays out at least 300 satoshi, and could net you over .3 BTC if you're really lucky. Just gotta fill out a captcha each time. (basically a faucet with chance of real reward) http://freebitco.in/?r=242778
