no new block after1468?
I know there is a new block after 1468 - waiting for dev to check on things... our pool has discovered enough blocks in the past 16-18 hrs. to pass 1500.

I think there may have been a fork somewhere.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

buy/sell thread ??

No one will buy or sell, if the coins can not be xferred - which they can not, until the network syncs.

Devs any news?

Can everybody check the version on your wallets?

If I understand correctly from the source code (https://github.com/appcoin-project/appcoin/commit/21c1d899440ecbfa0d884e50b82402d51c01f89f) eveyone should run protocol version 70000 to 70002?

// only request blocks from nodes outside this range of versions
 +static const int NOBLKS_VERSION_START = 70000;
 +static const int NOBLKS_VERSION_END = 70002;

Devs: I am running on this pool http://flap.bondni.com which is the only pool I can find with any decent amount of miners running (~150).
Please check the stats there as we are actively getting through blocks 56 in the last 24 hours. It lists the last block discovered as 23690.

Your pool must have a wrong chain version of the 1.0.2 or something. There's 1.0.3 available in Github.
Every pool should move to the 1.0.3 version.

I sent the pool a message via their contact form. Hopefully they will check into this soon.

Well... Yes, it would appear to be. Damn! It's listed in the OP, so when I clicked it and saw there was 150 miners, I just jumped in (Stupid!).

Sorry for previous posts.

Great! What the hell am I going to do with a couple hundred thousand Flappy coins?!! Sheesh.

Might want to take this pool out of the OP!  Roll Eyes  Wink

PS: Can anyone suggest a pool with more than 5 miners on it??? Please?

It seems like with the current difficulty of 303.76534492 and current network hashrate it will take some time.

{
    "blocks" : 1468,
    "currentblocksize" : 0,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
   "difficulty" : 303.76534492,
    "errors" : "",
    "generate" : false,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "hashespersec" : 0,
   "networkhashps" : 431338450,
    "pooledtx" : 17,
    "testnet" : false
}

In block 1500 KGW will be used, so issues with difficulty should be resolved. However, we will have to get to block 1500...

Don't you read the forum? Scrypt is outdated. Keccak and N-Factor is the new trend.

While I see Keccak and N-Factor being used alot lately, Scrypt based coins are still the most used, I don't know what forum you've been reading. Btw, I have heard (aside from my own experience) N-Factor Based coins have been giving people problems with their GPUs, so I'll be staying away from that for now.
