Looking for a safer desktop altcoin wallet (EXODUS wallet feedback)

To all professionals and legendaries in cryptocurrency, I wanted to know what are your favorite desktop altcoin wallet? I just did my own research and got hooked with EXODUS desktop wallet. It says that the interface is super easy to understand and even total newbies will get the hang of it. What is your experience using EXODUS wallet? Any other suggestions?

Such wallets are super easy to use and very useful for most people but I think by using them you are vulnerable to hackings. Only real wallet is hardware ones.

Exodus is very famous among the newbies because you can calculate and organize your savings with their pie chart portfolio, it also has a built-in exchange that allows you to trade the supported coins among themselves. Exodus is very safe because of its backup wizard which removes the possibility of losing your coins. You can also try Coinomi and Jaxx as they are known to be user friendly and safe.

Jaxx and Coinomi are my favorite choices. Jaxx is really good looking. But the problem is it only supports 12 coins. On the other hand Coinomi supports 64 coins.

I am sticking with Copay which is a pretty cool bitcoin wallet. And for multi coins i prefer Coinomi. It supports a great number of alt coins.

From my opinioni like jaxx. Their wallet type is not encrypted, easy to use and also open source.The safety issue is also good.

Exodus is good their wallet type is encrypted and they have no open source and user can use it easily. In safety issue i can't surely say anything but i heard it is good.

Definitely EXODUS is a very good desktop wallet for its easy interface and safety issues. There are also some other wallets which also might be useful for you. Aama, Cryptonator, Jaxx etc are also popular as desktop wallet for altcoins.

I've tried nearly every wallet but no one satisfied me much as electrum.
I may be biased but I love the bare bone and retro interface. Just the things you need and zero graphics.
It's fast and I can easily control anything even the fees I spend.

Exodus has been giving you an ability to take or export your privatekey and then it looks a very good reason to use it. You should not create any comparison between all of desktop wallet because they are all look the same on the security and any other technical issue. this is my favorite feature from exodus. https://support.exodus.io/article/86-how-can-i-view-my-private-keys

if you have the knowledge about this market then I think you may knows that there are several options of altcoin wallet, and every single of them are very unique on their own ways so I think if you analyzed the market then you will able to choose as per you needs and demands

I think best security is knowledge because if you do not know anything about security, wallets computers hardwares does not matter, they can not protect you.

There's another multicurrency crypto wallet aside from Exodus and that is Jaxx.

That's a good hint. Electrum is one of those wallets i have in mind. I am aslo hearing many positive feedback with that wallet and i believe that they are aslo used when transferring tokens to a hard wallet. Maybe i will also download electrum and check which is best between electrum and exodus. Thanks for that!

I have never use Exodus before but i red about how easy nice interface provided by their team but for security wise i am stick to only two traditional wallets :
 1- Hardware wallet (it is also very easy and secure at the same time time )
 2- offline paper wallet

Well I have not used exodus before, but i have used jaxx desktop wallet, but i have stop using them, I mostly use web wallet because it is easy for me to use because i am always on the go.

For altcoin I think Ethereum wallet is the best because of its facilities based on this in market there are lots of wallets is available but based on security I think ledger Nano S is more efficient I mean hardware wallet is more effective.
