Altcoin or Token

Hello guys!
I have an idea for a project. To kickstart that im gonna need funds and investors would benifit heavily. Should i use altcoin or token for kickstarting the project with ico.

1. I will suggest you use ERC20 token, which is built on Ethereum network. because these days it is easy get them listed on exchanges than Altcoins.

2. Have a good team to work with. A team with reputable members a very important in terms of having a successful ICO.

3. You Product should solve a unique problem. If you have a project that solves a relevant problem, it will help you in terms of ICO stage even when you enter exchanges.

Kick starting with your project, I think you need to focus more on the idea and building your project, if you have a clear idea of the project you want to build, deciding which one will be best for your project, won't be a problem.

I would prefer tokens for kickstarting with ICO over altcoins. That's because people look forward to ICO offers more than altcoins, as they have a chance to earn valuable tokens there. So starting off with tokens will be able to grab the attention of many, nevertheless, I wish you all the best for your project.

I also agree with the statement above in that for me as well it makes sense to start with tokens and not altcoins as this can grab a large mass of investors. But you shouldn't necessary discount altcoins, particularly up and coming community coins as they have the potential to skyrocket. After all, many of the most popular cryptocurrencies today were community coins, e.g. litecoin and dogecoin, it's easily feasible for another to come along and experience similar growth.

We need to come across a good ICO projects to get the investment back from tokens with rewards. In case of altcoins, choose the right coin, invest, HODL and sell. So it does not matter if it is token or altcoins, as long we know what we are doing.

Its mostly depends on what type of coin is you will need,  most of the ico projects use Ethereum network because of there smart contract creation platform but Ethereum network has to much network congestion now days.

Tokens can be receive with the bonus in the pre sale time or after that on crowd sale time. Therefore you need to find the good ICO project to get the profit with the investment on tokens.

altcoin has been trusted by investors that the coin is valuable while the token is not predictable before entering the market to convince investors then start the project with altcoin will be better

The coin or token never determined the success of your project or gather public attention. Almost everything depends on the idea of your project and how skilled team you have to make this useful.

Why not both?  The concept of smart contracts/ICO/erc-20 mixed with POW/POS/PO-X blockchain iterations isn't exactly new and some projects have already done this.  It makes sense to do something like this where you include various technologies so that it is more interesting to several interests.  Think about it, not only do you get investors that have their eyeballs on new ICOs but you could also reach a wider audience of people who may mine POW or otherwise purchase coin assets on exchange markets. 

I also agree with your suggestion but I think he you need to first state the idea of the project and analyze what will be done for you to achieve your aim because it is mot just about starting an ico but how potential the project will be.

If you have a good strategy then I think you can be successful by using both. But if I am in your position maybe I will go for altcoin. If you find a good one maybe it will maximize your profit.

Though I am a newbie in crypto world then again I would say using of token and alt coin actually depends on your project. Tokens are issued on ICO. Again tokens are the alternative of bit coin.

I think Altcoin is an easier way than tokens, in this way you have to choose some altcoins which have more amount of cryptocurrency. Those coins are not be unlisted by any exchanges.

It does not really matter which ones we pick. Tokens give rewards if we find a good ICO project with it and altcoins give return on investment if we pick the right coin. So, it all boils down to how strategic we are.

I think we will choose altcoin because we will also more easily get a good profit in the future, because the development of altcoin every day also grows better.

You can use Altcoin or Token also but I think using altcoin is more simple than Token. I wishes you and your team will chose the best option for your project.

I think you should really know about the project you are making, for the use of tokens or altcoin I think you should be able to use the tokens that you have obtained through investors and of course will invite investors.

You didn't start the discussion with a complete detail enough to have a clear solution, I assume. Though, We can suggest you as per our experience. I suggest you go for altcoin at first, as it is more reliable for everyone. Tokens are fully indulged with scams, so people don't rely on those tokens which are not being reviewed before. It will be better to kickstart your project with Altcoins and when you get a real feedback you may launch tokens.
