You can lose money, even if you are the house. My point was that "site profit" is very different from "house bankroll". The site profit was -2k but the house BR was still over 33k. The house has the ability to wait out lucky streaks from big gamblers because it has the edge AND the bankroll and is able to dictate the terms (ie max bet). Sometimes the gambler wins, that's whats so damn fun about it. The recent Lika runs are a perfect example. He was up huge and then lost it all back and now the site is at it's highest ever profit. Another great example is Archie Karas. He won 100 million in Vegas playing predominately pit games...and then lost it all back. So you can certainly hurt the house temporarily, for a figure that is quite impressive when you compare it to regular people's bank accounts...but compared to the amount of money that the house has, it's not that large.

- Players: Benefits from high variance because of the very low house edge compared to offline casino
The case of Nakowa will be very very difficult to happen in real world casino with higher house edge, but in this bitcoin dice with lower house edge it might be possible if the site's get unlucky. However JD still has positive profit even after Nakowa won high percentage of total BR, this is house edge effect. I wonder, if we take out Nakowa's winning, how much is the site's profit.

Actually, if we take the traditional 1% house edge found in many btc dice games, that's higher then virtually all casino blackjack tables, craps (assuming you take max odds), and virtually all decent video poker machines. It's about the same as baccarat. I wonder, if we take out Nakowa's winning, how much is the site's profit. That's a really good question, because his total profit hurt the site (although I've read that he's since given at least some back), but the exposure that they got certainly helped the site. Personally, I'm of the opinion that a massive gambler like that probably isn't going to just walk away, so in the long run it's probably hugely beneficial for them.
