Earning Merit on the forum seems to be difficult for newbies.

Most of us who recently joined the forum to learn more about cryptocurrency seem to find it very difficult to earn merits on the forum. Most of us try so hard to earn merits but most time find it as mission impossible.
I just wish someone can put us through to earn merits as a number of them is required to rank up from Jr. Member rank.

Now the forum is working a new system, which in its idea should reduce the amount of spam and it really helps. It seems to me that there are fewer people on the forum. Earlier statistics was worse. Merits are received by those people who write the right messages or make useful information branches.

Difficult ? it is impossible. It has just put an end to promotion of ranks in this forum. You will stay with your current rank for the rest of your life. This is how it works now. No more promotion, stay where you are and that all. And even if you somehow earn a merit still then you'll need it in big numbers to get promotion.

I agree with you. It is hard to get merits, but you have to active in discussions and if you write interesting and constructive post which will beneficial for people, then people will share their merits with you.

Merit is really difficult to get but one haveto try to post good quality posts and keep doing the right thing. One day you may get surprise that someone had given you a merit.

Buddy, Just because someone is high ranked doesn't mean that they know how to gain merit. Most of them got few number of merits for their level once the system has started to be used.

In my opinion to get merit, you have to try to be formative and excellent when posting. Always try to write posts in sections that are hotspot for distribution of merites. I Hope you find these points helpful.

I can't completely disagree with this fact , it is becoming difficult for the newbies to earn from merit on form, well I understand this is happening because they still have lacks of knowledge about the market so when they try they failed to achieve anything, we cannot directly blame anyone one for this but athourity must take some steps

And that's merit system works. Best "rank" for best "members". But if you go to this forum to learn, why do you need high rank?  In this forum, there is no rank discrimination, you can still discuss, learn normal like others.

It is really difficult not only for the new ones but also to the users that are not. The new system makes it hard to rank up and we all know that ranks in this forum is important since it is the basis on the rewards especially in bounty programs. That is why patience is needed not only for the investors but also to the bounty hunters due to the added difficulty.

it's not a solution to merit selling merit just to rank or to increase your rank can help you with the forums to give you merit risky to give the merit no one else because to give it good post quality that helps other people.

All I would say is try not to worry about it, engage with people in an honest and helpful fashion and eventually someone will reward you. We all have things that we can do that others cant, work out what you are good at and stick to that. It may be helping newbies find their feet, getting involved in discussions about the tech side or the financial side of crypto but learn your stuff and stick to it.

Personally, I have more than enough to do learning about getting my head around how blockchain works and how it will fit in with real-world uses so I am concentrating on learning what I can before I try and gain merit.

actually its impossible if you are not really well known in this forum. I have saw a lot of high ranks who is really popular and some managers who easily earn merits just by posting updates, or starting a bounty program. but for a normal individual like us, it seems impossible.

Not just for newbies but for everyone.
Smerit is the one to give to the people who post constructive and informative.
but now only selected people are getting Smerits.
