In 7 years a lot of coins will stay including the shitty ones because they'll follow the price of Bitcoin. If the price would be lower than where we are now then I might take back what I said. The sad truth is that as long as these coins are listed on websites like coinmarketcap and maintains a decent trading volume I don't think these major coins would die in less than a decade. One example is a fork like BCH.

I do not think big coins will live in 2025. A coin will depend on the investment of the players more or less, how the price of it, how the transaction is made? In the electronic market there are a lot of coins that exist until 2025. The most important coin is the highest price.

ethereum had better get its act together because it's looking more like a prototype for a real contract coin every day. litecoin needs to actually be used for something.

monero is the other one but it needs to become less painful to use and i fully expect privacy coins to be driven out of conventional markets as the price for doing business.

It's clear that Ethereum won't be going anywhere, regardless of what people think about it. I don't like it either, but we can't just blindly discard it and act like it will vanish at some point.

People like Ethereum and will keep backing it just like how Bitcoiners are backing Bitcoin. It does everything its users want it to do, which is giving them direct access to a do-it-all platform.

Ethereum made sure that there likely won't be any token growing out larger, and this directly benefits Bitcoin as well. Ethereum basically killed the entire token market and we should be thankful for that.

Yes major coins like bitcoin, eth will stay after many years and I think this coin will be more valuable by coming years due of demand of this major coins especially bitcoin, btc increasing every year and we didn't know maybe btc will hit 100k dollars cause of its popularity. yeah and I think shitcoin will gone cause no buyers and the volume is not increasing.

That is likely to be true. The top major coins in the marketcap are already proving their importance in because a lot of big players are beting their fortune on it. Maybe not only 2025 but more than that because they will be in the financial ecosystem.

Actually it is hard to tell the future of Crypto currencies except for the crap coins in which for sure by next year they will belong to the list of dead coins. Lot of expert like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett says Bitcoin or the Crypto is a bubble investments that anytime it will burst to become zero value so although i am Bitcoin enthusiast but with these experts with their caliber of reviewing business then maybe their opinion is true.

I disagree many of the coins do not last even one year in the market they disappear very fast and in fact many of the coins do not even last that long but those that invested in those coins refuse to accept the truth that the coins in which they invested died and they try to keep promoting it extending its life when the developers have just disappeared or they do not care about the project anymore.

Now that does not mean there are not going to be bad coins in a few years because for every coins that disappears several coins appear trying to take its place, but I think that people are waking up to the fact that the market of icos is not what it appears to be and icos are having problems getting enough funding or any funding at all which is something that makes me glad.

This your question is something else. It is like you are asking someone to look into the future and tell you what will happen in 2025, that's like in a 6 years time. I am a bitcoin believer and i have benefited a lot from it. One thing about this game is that you can never predict it. The volatile nature of the market is crazy, and if you have checked past years, you will notice that many good coins have died off and more good projects are still coming. Bitcoin being one the coins that will last longer but how 2025 is what i can't guess.

We actually do not know about the cryptos that either they will continue to exist or will wanish. To me I think that there are some good coins which will surely exist and may be trading in a very good price. So we need to identify such coins as do investment there.

No one really knows whats the future ahead because it could happen that all of them may die and only bitcoin will survive as the major crypto currency. Remember that rest of the coins are just made up coins which are being created for raising he funds for specific projects. Now these projects may last longer or they may get killed very quickly with the time due to less usability of their coins and thus no further investment in them. People might get tired of getting scammed one day and may just invest into the BTC for safety and security of their investment.

Nobody knows what will be happend In the future of this different altcoins, so we are stick on speculation. In my opinion, I think only top10  coins will be survive by the year comes In 2025. Most of the coins currently existing will be dead in fiver years, you are completely correct in that and I agree but the big problem is that there is nothing stopping people from creating new coins to replace those that died and as long as there is naive people that think they can become rich fast with cryptocurrencies then new scam coins are going to keep appearing.

And we cannot do anything about it since we cannot regulate the market since anyone that can code or that has an idea can release an ico, so I think that this is a problem that will last for a very long time and it is not going to diminish until people learn their lesson and understand that most coins are scams or unprofitable projects.

I do think that there will be a top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2025. But also I can say that not all the top 10 today's cryptocurrency will be included into that list. Probably only a few of them will be present.

Most of the coins floating around right now will be on their way to total irrelevance before the year is out, let alone more than half a decade into the future. I'm really interested to see what does make it. It's certainly not always the most rational choice either.

Most of what was up there back in the day is now outright junk. That's only a few years back. By 2025 the whole crypto scene will be unimaginably larger with vastly more expertise to hand as well. I'll wager most of what'll be at the top by then does not exist yet.

It's also possible that the idea of any of these coins being in any sort of competition will be laughable by then. Bitcoin does one job. Others do totally separate things. It'll be a much, much healthier space when that idea is dropped.

A majority of coins die right after they are listed on an exchange as the bounty hunters sell their coins and dumps the coin to its death so no one else buys that coin and this makes the coin dead in just a matter of few days after the launch on the exchange. So there won't be so many coins in the future as there are currently as the ICO trend is also coming to a halt.

Hmm. To project that far in advance is quite something. However, I think by that time is highly likely that the blockchain technology is up and running,massively improved of course, but its hard to imagine that none of our current top coins will live that long. I think there are a few which could survive if the current and most pressing issues are solved.
