Looks like someone else already bid 2 slots @ 5btc each, but their are 8 slots you are selling...so I don't know if I can bid the same for other slots?
That's fine. Probably the best strategy is to just bid what you want to pay. I'll sort it all out when the auction ends.

I think there should be something set up for this to make it simpler. Like some kind of script. Or at least let us know who is the current lead and such

Dree12's list is correct. Your previous bids are canceled when you post an updated bid, so Talpan will get two slots and Teek will get one.
Now that I think about it more, the minimum increment rule doesn't make any sense. Let's just say that all future bids need to be divisible by 0.5.
This auction format is somewhat confusing, but I don't think it's worth my time to write a script. The forum also offers some abuse protection through the newbie restriction and other limits.

but I don't think it's worth my time to write a script. I've already written up the database structure on how I'd go about writing the script. slot -sid //just DB ID -number //actual slot number -round //whihc round / week are we at? -last_user //last person to make a bid
users -sid //just DB ID -username -password -allowed //are they allowed to bid -max //what's the highest they want to go on any bid
bids -sid //just DB ID -slot //what slot are they bidding on? -username -current //what's their bid currently? -max //whats the highest they want to go? If no one else wants the write the script, I'll just go ahead and do it.

I have updated the list.: Slot # | Username | Cost (BTC) | 1 | Teek | 6 | 2 | TyGrr | 6 | 3 | BitCoinWebHost | 6 | 4 | BitCoinWebHost | 6 | 5 | NothinG | 5 | 6 | NothinG | 5 | 7 | Mb300sd | 5 | 8 | GoWest* | 4 |
* Order not fully completed I bid 2 btc for a slot.
Any bid below 4.5 will not currently get in (I'm assuming GoWest has priority since he bid first). If no one else wants the write the script, I'll just go ahead and do it.
This is not work a script would do better than a human; you would still be needed to enter the fields manually.

I was the first person to have a Double Trouble Automatic game, everyone loved the automation better. Anyways, it's up to theymos.

I guess you've never messed with PHP I'm fully capable of messing with PHP - it's just that the things it excels at (flexibility) are not needed. There will always be a need for someone to enter the bids, and that someone could just as easily place them in the correct slots.

is it possible to maintain a list in the startpost with the current bids? It's kind of messy the way it's done.

I am interested in buying advertising but this format is a mess. I am not sure that I understand it, but I am bidding 6 bitcoins for a slot. When does the auction end?
