why i made a title like that because basically the internet has the same properties with bitcoin ie:
1. Equally made by humans if bitcoin was made in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, while the Internet was created from a computer network established by the US Department of Defense in 1969.
2. The first equation between Bitcoin and the Internet is that Bitcoin is an efficient, decentralized and moving infrastructure based on protocols open to the public.

and for the difference include:
Bitcoin does not transfer data packets in a dynamic network and circuitry like the one on the internet, but builds trust among users to run its systems efficiently and decentralized.
Although you can argue that the ledger, Bitcoin is "central", it is actually created through decentralized mechanical consensus.
how do you think it all?

I feel quite reasonable about the interesting sharing of Mr. Kelly (a founding executive, CEO of BKCM LLC). He believes that the explosive growth of the Internet, in the future Bitcoin will be so. He believes that the future of these coding currencies will be similar to the impact of the Internet today.

bitcoin will never be currency of the internet, its already not functioning as a curency for a small community it has, its broken its a tool for speculation that causes fears among banksters. and old people that think the world is drifting appart.

interest based game theory basically reassures that bitcoin will drop its popularity, world changes, not in the interest of many to support a certain cryptosect.

it will be the problem of bitcoin and its centere (miners, and owners, and media outled owners) to propagate it.

but given the huge amount of coins in reality that will exist. i doubt you will keep the attention you currently have.

regards

I think the nature of the internet and bitcoin is the same.

Kelly compared Bitcoin to the early Internet companies of Cisco and Microsoft, considering the similarities between Bitcoin and Cisco's routers and Internet protocols. However, Kelly emphasized that it is not right to think of Bitcoin as a company or a stock:
"This is an open source software, you can not think of it as a company, and people make a mistake about it. This is not a stock, it's not a company."

There are a lot of people visiting regularly the internet, it may be their job or just a way to pass time or maybe they needed something. A lot of people got addicted to it since you can do whatever you want from it unless some sites are banned at you.

You can follow people, you can stalk some celebrities and you can even talk to them. It may not give the service as the same as Bitcoin but in the future payment will be the same, but the thing is it may not be Bitcoin.

i don't even know why you thought it is a good idea to compare two things that are very different! your comparison is like saying my new Porsche is equal to the road! Porsche is the vehicle which was made to use the road to move around. bitcoin is also the tool that was made to use the internet to perform.

bitcoin will never be currency of the internet, its already not functioning as a curency for a small community it has

Because of volatility it is difficult to use as a currency. This single sentence though answers the problem of the volatility. You are right, its a small community and that's why its not functioning as a currency, as it is way too volatile. Obviously it will be less volatile as the market grows. It is already significantly less volatile than what it was a few years back.

fears among banksters. and old people that think the world is drifting appart.

Banksters are powerless and as for old people, i'm not sure what that has to do with anything. It should be advised that you absolutely should not and cannot listen to older people (67+) about anything in the technology sector. It is just far too alien, and they would not have accurate advice for it.

interest based game theory basically reassures that bitcoin will drop its popularity, world changes, not in the interest of many to support a certain cryptosect.

I don't know what this has to do with Bitcoin exactly. How does game theory reassure that Bitcoin will lose popularity? That makes no sense... If anything, interest in Bitcoin will only increase. Very rarely do new people that enter crypto eventually leave. Most of the time, new crypto users stick around and don't lose interest in the crypto sector. Why? Because it is far too interesting in the first place. If anything, the network effect guarantees Bitcoins usage will increase and in turn, it's price.

but given the huge amount of coins in reality that will exist. i doubt you will keep the attention you currently have.

The huge amount of pointless alts with nil hash rate? Why would they affect the largest crypto network? They are not better than Bitcoin in any way. None of them work, and those that promise to be better, fail spectacularly (See EOS).

I think Bitcoin is not the Internet, I think Bitcoin is part of the Internet which is a merger between the public trust about bitcoin is money and the internet itself is intangible, but it can be used

The bitcoin is really the same as the Internet, and many people doubt that bitcoin is a monetary means designed by the US government for the economy, and I think it is possible.

Facebook shares price fell -24% and $180 billion got wiped out of facebook market value. Bitcoin market capitalization is some $180 billion. Bitcoin is not that big.

I don't think OP is mentioning the size of the Internet vs the size of Bitcoin. I think he/she is focusing on the technology it's based on. I agree that it's a pretty thin comparison to be making, but I think there's some truth to it. In particular, the protocols that are open to the public is a decent connection.

The only issue I really have with this is that it's a little too vague. You can say the same thing about numerous services on the web. Alongside that, I think Bitcoin has a while to grow before it's at a spot of comparison to the Internet at all. Might be better to connect Bitcoin to Gold in terms of a holding/asset.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

I think the Internet is quite similar to Bitcoin. It was born and it took a while to prove to the whole world that it was important. Then for a short time, its value was soaring and they called it a bubble. The dot-com bubble has exploded and Cryptocurrency is also. I think it has the same fate and is very valuable in the future.

Without the prescence of interenet bitcoin is useless mate, many transactions will be failing specially the mining operations which carries or handles bitcoin processing. Internet is mainly the life of bitcoin, just like with human beings its by blood that works the body to get life. So Internet serves as the blood of bitcoin that strongly supports its life on the web networks.

Bitcoin requires an internet connection to access the site for use, without internet Bitcoin can not be used and can not work to visit websites related to cryptocurrency.

I really don't get your point in doing this thread but if you are comparing the two there are lot of similarities but the two had very different uses, Yes we know that bitcoin needs internet to run, And the vast majority of it was the world wide web and we can see a lot of vast information regarding it, We can say that the internet had made itself with the development of electronic computers in the 1950s and had many information you can find in it and almost all on the people around the world are using right now, For common folks that didn't live in the late 90's it is now very difficult for them without the internet because they sure rely on it almost always, And as bitcoin progresses right now it sure need internet to run on it and we can see a majority of useful thing running on the World Wide Web, So we can say that without the internet there are no Bitcoin that can ever be made.

yes your opinion but bitcoin can not be called an asset right? if the asset is real and published form can be accepted by the public. jia bitcoin we want to publish in what way to be accepted by various circles and countries, while yesterday bill gates strongly rejects about bitcoin. what we must do so that all people in the world will accept anything about bitcoin (cryptocurrency) and participate in order to develop the bitcoin (cryptocurrency) on our beloved earth?

The two of these are very different. We don't need to compare it. But for me, you can earn bitcoin thru internet because crypto currency requires an internet connection to perform better. The combination of these gives us to earn money.
