This niche has always been popular that is was about time some projects were cooking behind the scenes. As we all know many projects don't have a purpose, and they start ICOs only to hastily raise a capital for something they have not idea for. Others fields like online dating are also making their first steps into the blockchain terrain. But some of them fall short. Like I said, when we want to take something into Blockchain, we need to have purpose... a solution for a problem, so to speak. Blockchain technology can harbor many fields. There are projects currently developed by Disney for their thematic parks, and NASA is using blockchain as well. So, I think that with online dating - since it is a topic with a large audience - a project based on this field can have a good future. Tinder has been a very popular app of recent times. Implementing this on blockchain would be definitely very exciting and profitable at the same time, as many people seem to prefer this medium, like TanTan, etc, and Facebook has also spoke on initiating it soon in their site. A lot of people find it very easy and accessible, without having to spend time looking for dates, in a busy life schedule.

Online dating should be definitely a profitable prospect. Tinder has been a very popular app of recent times. Even Facebook has announced to add a online dating feature on their site. Many people rely on internet to find other people to date. Implementing this on blockchain would be definitely very exciting and profitable at the same time.

Every one would love some privacy on online dating. At least until things work out,
Cryptocurrency would make things really easier on online dating to keep some anonymity.
A crypto based match making like Tinder would work.

This is sure way of proliferating the society with block chain concept. Face book was more of a date site initially but has catapulted to am amazing platform for news and information. Who knows where this will take us, this is a welcome development for block chain enthusiasts.

As far I know Hicky is one of the platform that change the online dating scene. Using blockchain, it’s making it good by solving problems and issues that is usually found in available existing dating apps.

Discussing these online dating sites, I don't even find these sites whether it is legitimate or not. These sites are not well reviewed and don't have a public feedback on this. The topic might be useful for the people who want to invest in these project. Personally, I am not interested in these projects.

I don't see the use of blockchain in online dating. Why would we need blockchain in online dating anyway? What extra features will blockchain be adding in online dating? It would be nice to if someone answered these questions. There is no doubt that blockchain is the future but I'm not convinced that online dating really needs blockchain other than launching an ICO for new projects.

There's a few projects in the dating space that are blockchain based. On one hand, security and encryption are a great benefit for participants. However, blockchains have a nature of permanency, which I believe is write a huge drawback.
More importantly, how difficult is it to match UI and simplicity of other apps? If it's difficult/impossible, I don't see anyone adopting this type of application.
