Dude could have saved himself a lot of writing by choosing "Thank you sir!" as his username.  If that one was taken, he could still put something along those lines in his personal message space.

I often think I should have chosen "You're all a bunch of wankers" as my user ID, but it's too late now I guess.  lol

Talking about politeness. Can you see my politeness points under my avatar  Tongue

Well, the user is somehow genius, by using "Thank you" instead of "Good project, Interesting project" posts, reporters wont notice that s/he is spamming unless you check the user's post history. Too bad, because of being too polite, s/he just end up being reported and will be banned soon for sure.

By the way I agree with The Pharmacist. Maybe Admin could give him/her another chance to change his/her username to "Thank you sir", but of course his account will remain banned because someone here already made a pretty good move.

So TMAN has been knocked of his spot as the politeness king. Serves him right for not being active here. Smiley

I wouldn't count it as spamming specially when he is just saying his thanks towards people saying "nice project" and for people who have posted their proof of authentication. But I think this could have been done via pm as a lot of people are only seeing his thank you message from the Ann Thread he could have also added other words or info so that it doesn't look spammy.

Haha, I've seen similar members like him but not with this post count Cheesy

Seems like almost all the ANN managers a like that, using the opportunity to bump the thread.

Or he is trying to achieve this :

Man, you are genius. Indeed, you have defeated the Thank You guy.

Out of your 164 merits, you got 102 from xandry (Staff)
Don't know why a Staff give you merits a total of 101 time. All of those are deleted too. I believe a staff member can never abuse with the merit system but this made me thinking once again.

Thanks for sharing this info. I didn't know as I am newbie here.
However, I can't be agree with the rewarding system. As someone said, someone can create hundreds of account (although some people own more than those) and start spamming and report from a single account to make it higher ranked.

Not only that, but he responds to haiku bots, which strongly implicates he hired them for thread-bumping (his title is Neuro community manager).

Not really what the trust system was intended for. At the end of the day if the campaign manager is doing their job then they will be checking each individual users post history, and rejecting them if they aren't up to the standard.
