Hello, admins,
would you be so kind to clarify, if I in dollars, they would be converted to euro anyway?
If yes, what is the rate of this convertation?

Hi team!
Is it necessary to apply for KYC? If so, why?

It seems that the KYC is a must now for TrueFlip users as what informed on the AML/KCY policy page. The reasons are actually common thing, related to money laundering and terrorism financing. To be honest, IMO it should not be applied to all users. It is better if the KYC applies for users who are suspected to do such criminal things.

KYCs is must thing to do nowadays, to prevent monely flows to bad forces, like terrorism groups.
Of course, it is clearly that KYCs often raise worriness about risks of leaks of personal information, data hacks/ leaks, risks of losing money due to hacks.
However, in general, KYCs is not too bad ideas to control and prevent bad forces collecting financial sources for their operations, that is only bad for the world.

Not all gambling sites requires KYC, they would only require in rare cases like if their customer is under investigation and they freeze the funds.
You should know the site you are playing, their TOS, so you will not complain, this site requires KYC and therefore you comply.
I have played in different gambling sites and I feel comfortable playing anonymous but that depends to you.

a must thing? Are you sure?
Look at the fact that there are still many bitcoin gambling sites does not require KYC for their players. Indeed they reserves the right to ask for KYC for special cases such as if the players suspected to do something against their terms.
If it is a must in bitcoin gambling industry then there will be no more advantages of gambling in bitcoin gambling sites compared to fiat based casinos.

Not now, but who knows in the future.
Around two years ago, no one imagined that someday crypto exchanges will ask their users to do KYCs, right?
But, it is what actually happened with crypto exchanges, and mainly come from governments' requirements.
a must thing? Are you sure?
Yes, it is the current situation in crypto gambling sites, but let's see what next in the next one or two years.

I agreed.

KYC violates the core charateristic of blockchain and bitcoin, but time changes lots of things in decentralization of blockchain, crypto and privacy.

OP should be online soon to get some statement from him.
It's nice if we will get from him so there will be no more confusion on the part of the players.

Hi team!
Is it necessary to apply for KYC? If so, why?

Hello guys!
That's a very good question, so the answer can be addressed to all of you FYI.
As it was mentioned above, you can find all the information following the link https://trueflip.io/kyc-policy to our KYC rules page.
Basically KYC info is required when you deposit big and play big (thousands of dollars) monthly to protect us from money laundering. We also ask players to go through KYC as an antifraud check if they win big amounts.
By the way, multi-accounting is prohibited on our platform as well so we ask users to pass KYC if he is suspected in creating multi-accounts.
To say more, licensed gambling websites like us are required by law to apply KYC policy to its customers when they start accepting card payments.
However if you are not a highroller and play occasionally using mostly cryptocurrencies, you can put your KYC procedure on hold.

That's explained, gamblers who just wanted to enjoy and spare little amount of money can still proceed without KYC, it's conditional if you are already been catered by the said grounds, small amount and just using single account will be enough to enjoy your stay.

I got the link to do KYC on True Flip.
As it was mentioned above, you can find all the information following the link https://trueflip.io/kyc-policy to our KYC rules page.
It is unfair, and not enough to prevent money laundering because you should imagine that what will happen if someone has big funds, and split funds into different accounts?

You mentioned about preventive method, but how to make sure that you can detect them all on your site?
Quote

It is the point, that I think all users, no matter they have big or small  money on your site should do KYC.
In other words, they should do KYC after creating accounts, it is mandatory KYC.

As for now this is pretty enough to protect from money laundering as KYC also prevents multi-accounting. Our opportunities right now allow us to completely follow the flow of funds on the platform and detect multi-accounting and any major changes in incoming/outgoing funds.

That would probably be perfect for us, but at the same time we try to keep a window for the players' right for anonymity as it has been established in the world of blockchain long time ago.
Again this is for those who play occasionally using crypto-money.
